- The campus infrastructure. Every course has a block for themselves. There is rarely any clash in classes.
- The discipline of teachers regarding the subject.
Dislikes
- The wifi signals are weak. Difficult for students to watch lectures etc on campus
- The mess is not free for hostel students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Amity University has one of the best psychology courses in the country. With an NIRF ranking of 39, Amity University is thriving in every aspect. It has student exchange programs with foreign universities and has a great approach to the best universities in the world.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't had an internship yet. As I am a fresher. But according to my seniors, amity has tie up with some of the greatest companies in Delhi and the ones that look great on your resumé and CV. It also has a tie-up with Youvah an online internship program
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees I have paid for a year is 1,02,000. I got a scholarship from Amity University as it is affiliated to CUET. The application fee is 1500. The caution fee is 5000. If we withdraw admission 15 days prior. Then they refund the entire amount (not the hostel fees though). If 10 days prior then 90% of the amount and if 5 days prior or after starting of the session. Then 80% of the fees. Many of my batchmates have secured merit-based admission and have scholarships as well.
Campus Life :
There are fests going on every now and then organised by Amity Business School. There are opportunities in every aspect. Sports, cultural activities etc. There are dance clubs, sports clubs, change makers clubs etc
Admission :
Amity University was established in 2005. And Noida is the main campus of Amity University. I applied to other colleges such as Ashoka and Symbiosis. But these are liberal arts colleges. And I don't prefer liberal arts as a person who's already confused with what they want to pursue.
Faculty :
The faculty are mostly available. Except when they are classes of course. The teachers clear our doubts over calls as well. Ms. Isha Jaiswal is one of the best faculties at Amity University. She balances class time with fun and teaching. We have midterms and end-semester exams. The syllabus is quite easy as of now.
Other Applied Colleges
Ashoka University | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Psychology)
It is a liberal arts college. As a person who is figuring out what to do with their life... Liberal arts colleges are not preferable.
Symbiosis School of Liberal Art - [SSLA] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Liberal Arts)
Again... Is a liberal arts college. Plus far from my home town. Placement opportunities not very good.
