Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is a total disaster. They put a lot of pressure on students. For example they teach java to data science students and so much more. Also the exam timings and the ca's every week give so much pressure to the students.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 119000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good in the college as many companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, etc. visits the university. It depends on you that how much skills you have and if you can grab a good placement of not.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is an entrance scholarship exam called LPU NEST which can provide scholarship upto 35%. The initial fee for btech is 119000. But after the scholarship ut can be upto 86000. Also the university provides in campus placements.

Campus Life :

There is a good social environment in the university as it is a huge university and you have a lot of people to interact too. Also there is a rule of section shuffle every semester so that students can interact more.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is pretty average. In the hostel room you are provided with a bed,table,chair, cupboard. You can either opt for ac or non ac room. Rooms are very small. Also there are cleanliness issues too.

Hostel Fee : INR 90000 per year

Admission :

I have been admitted in btech cse and the eligibility was 75% in boards with pcm. Also there is an entrance exam called LPU NEST which you need to qualify as well. LPU NEST will also provide you scholarship for the fees.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is pretty low as compared because if a teacher is teaching bad they don't have teachers to replace him/her. Some teachers have good qualifications some are graduated from the same University itself. It's pretty easy to connect to the teachers in the uni.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university.
