Remarks :
The fees structure and the environment is good as well as the campus size is big enough but the serious problem is the office staff n authority as well as the student union member who know to put the money in the pocket but not to utilised for good cause of the college...no wifi no computer rooms..no good food nor a quality teaching staff.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B.com is under Guahati University for 3 years UG course with 6 semester... Exam are held after every 5-6 month interval i.e. semester system.each semester contain 5-6 subject where each subject marks are carried forward to calculate GPA.
Placement Experience :
No the college doesn't provide such placement for job as it fall under government supervision but still some department is under private supervision .. The candidate having low marks as well as some problem regarding financial , transportation, etc join here in this college.. No intership is held in the college..
College Events :
Annual week is celebrated in the month of January and February where 5 days different sports event like cricket, kho kho, volleyball,carom, weight lifting, kabbaddi, rope pulling etc are played and competition like drawing , singing, poem , article writing etc competition are too organized.. Last 2 days there is program in the college where students as well as teacher perform .
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure for government supervision department are feasible around 5000 per year by a student. Morever the hostel fees is also minimum to the student. But, private supervision department are little expensive around 20000 -30000per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, scholarship is provided to the student of the Jagiroad college regardless of any caste or categories..The student only avail the scholarship provided by the government where the documents verification is done by the college office employee where sometime they need bribe for the approval of the documents and the form.
Campus Life :
There is common rooms for girls as well as for boys too but the quality and environment of the rooms are too poor ..there is a gymaniusm in the college but the college authority don't held the key to open the room..there ia too a football field which is half of the real football field..where no football is provided to play in the field.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel consist of boys separately and girls separately. inside the campus with an capacity of more than 120 students of girls and maximum 80 capacity for boys . Time table wise food served but quality is refer too poor.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college teacher and student are busy among themselves they never share there experience to the junior nor the teacher are friendly enough to understand the student suitation...the only thing a teacher know is to give notes without any explanation of those notes.
Faculty :
The commerce department teachers are little inexperienced compared to other departments of the college... The office employee are too careless and ignored nature...they couldn't solve any problem by themselves just they know to contact principal to solve every problem ..
