Remarks :
It's pretty much good as you're getting so much quality education from a govt based college. You can't ask for anymore
Course Curriculum Overview :
For now, Our college only follows bookish language based education, which is irrelevant towards the changing dynamics of education. I hope it will be good over time, for On-campus placements we need more resources as to make the college bigger and give students facility where they can grow.
Placement Experience :
Currently no student has availed the placement in our college and for my information my college doesn't provide any internships
College Events :
College week, Annual function, Teachers day, Saraswati puja and most of the college celebrations, blood donation camp, Flood relief. Etc our college provides a lot of opportunities to the person so that they can excel in both the academically and in studies
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It can efforded by everyone in our college. It's not so high even the students coming from below poverty line. if they talk to the principal. They get free admission. College doesn't take any additional fees or late fees because our college believes education must be affordable
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are basically not much scholarship provided as long as i know. Our college has come which are for Excellent students who come from poor family. An one time money is paid to them, others are SC,ST,OBC scholarship and also Ushan uday
Campus Life :
Gender ration 1:1, Diversity is pretty good as we have people from all the authenticity. We have a new lab opened and it's pretty good. Our college provides opportunities to the people who wants to builf a carrier around sports. There are students coming from different races get admission in our college
Hostel Facilities :
No i haven't opted for any hostel or anything but i think the people coming from outside. They basically stay in the private pg's as our college doesn't have a hostel yet. But it would be really great if our college gets to have a hostel pretty soon. So the students who live in pg's need to pay on average of 3000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna :
They are one of the best people you can have, but having good seniors are really must as they are the one who make ur college life better
Admission :
It is one of the most prestigious college of Assam for commerce stream. Where only the top class students are selected on merit list basis. First we have to apply for the college and then after evaluation they post a merit list and students who get their names on the list. Gets the addmission and if they don't. The guy in the first waiting list take their place in the admission.
Faculty :
Most of them are having a M.Com degree having done course in b.ed,m.ed or Even PHD. I feel like yes. Some of our lectures have the industry related certifications. Some of them can really explain topics. Most of them can't express of what they are teaching just because of the language barrier
