Course Curriculum Overview :
I like mathematics so I decided to pursue this course. The curriculum has real world problems in detail which prepares us. The exam frequency is too short and a longer break between exams might be helpful
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees : 25,000 Tuition fees: 15000, Registration fees: 1000, Admission fees: 1500, Other fees: 7500 Batchmate fees: 25000 Available scholarships- 30000 for OBC/SC/ST, 50000 for annual parents earning below 1.5 lakhs
Campus Life :
There is annual college week every November which is very famous and invites lots of people to participate. The library here also has a vast variety of different books. The technological provisions are somewhat laging behind others colleges of the same rank. There are a few student run groups to survey and benefits the overall students union.
Admission :
I applied for three different colleges in Guwahati but it was too far from my home so I decided to join this college. I got a rejection from cotton college because the cut off marks for admission were very high. The basic eligibility is the grades and percentage, and after that there is personal interview and then the admission process.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 20:1 so the relationship is very good between the teachers and the students. The outdoor field is very big for playing various games, the canteen is also huge and offers multiple options. There are three sets of exams every six months.
