Reputation of College great outside as it is a National Institute
VNIT being a campus of 250 Acre has a very lush green campus.
Great Alumni Network Of the College so you required any help there are alumni sitting in every corner of world.

Dislikes

Lot of Workload..The prof of VNIT are very strict towards acads.
Some old building of College are not renovated yet.
There should be more than one canteen in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is relevant and up to date as per the NEP2020. VNIT provides every single need to do research or study higher things in the course. The prof as well as the department are very helpful towards studies

Internships Opportunities

In third year many well known companies visit our campus and give internship with a stipend as high as 3lpa. VNIT is actively taking part in incouraging students to do internship to get the industry exposure.

Placement Experience

College's Training and Placement Cell is very active in providing placement to the students. Many esteemed companies like Google,Oracle, De Shaw, Goldman Sachs,etc. visit our campus and provides hand on packages and Interns to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

VNIT accepts feese according to semester. And the prices for each semester are decided at start of every semester.The feese varies from 60k-70k. College also provides lot of scholarship benifits to the eligible candidates as there are many scholarship for SC and ST categories. The scholarship for Merit Students,scorlarships for ews and obc students,etc. There are a number of scholarship options given by VNIT. Also VNIT provides fee remission option according to the income of parents.

Campus Life

The Campus life at VNIT is good unless you are from south side of the country as the language used here is mostly Hindi so you would find difficulty being here. On the other sense the campus life here is Fantastic. The events,The culture of Maharashtra Everything is at its place.

Hostel Facilities

First years get double or triple sharing rooms and according from second year you have option to opt between single and double.. The most luxurious hostels are given to 4th year students.. In total VNIT has 8 Boys Hostel and 2 Girls Hostel. A table,Cot,Fan and a tube is provided to every student. Hostel is better in sense of the fees we are required to pay..

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

VNIT is a National College and is ranked 39th among all Engineering Colleges of India. As I was getting ECE here and compared to other NITs and State College,the lush green campus of VNIT and also the NIRF rankings attracted me

Faculty

Faculty at VNIT are well learned persons.. They hold PhD and lot of research papers published in their own field. The only bad thing of prof is they are strict towards studies and set Question Papers a bit difficult.

Placement Experience:

The Placement are good but not as per we expect. In our collegeb there is placement with low package and is not satisficable. They Offer only 5 to & LPA Packages. So the students who has so many skills are not satisfy by that. In Our College, 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The Companies which hire the students from our college are TCS,Capgemini,Bajaj, Tata motors, Infosys and so on. The highest package is 17 LPA which was given to only one student and average package is 7 LPA. There are only 40 to 50% stbudents placed every year. My Plan After getting the degree is to do Masters(M.Tech) By Giving The GATE Exam.

Remarks:

This college is very nearer to akurdi railway station so students can do up down. And no disturbance around the college. But the ID card is compulsory in college please note this. No trouble of proper people or native people.

Remarks:

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate. VNIT-the guide

I applied for others colleges that accepted admission through the state entrance cell. I was getting admission there on my previous exam basis and also MHT CET exam result. I chose VNIT as it was near my home and also it was more premier institute than the colleges of MHT CET I was not rejected from the other colleges that o applied for only my rank was not sufficient to get admission in their courses. The admission process for VNIT is that they accept students on the basis of JEE MAINS examination for students that wish to pursue bTech and then there is a separate exam of architecture for students who wish to pursue BArch which is a five year integrated program offered by the college....Read More
