  • College is Commercialising a lot of things, like, swimming pool, Tennis Court, etc, due to which, students get a little less opportunities, which they could get in these sports.
  • College is very less concerned about the sports and their positive effect on students. Their is very less or no organization of any physical activity.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Talking about curriculum, it is pretty good. It try to prepare students in all aspects. College organises different activities like Moot Court Competitions, TAC Competition, Negotiation Competition, Client Counseling Competition, Mediation Competition. These all helps a student in understanding the practical field as well, apart from the educational aspects. Area of improvement:- There are few activities, which are based on limited slots and first come first serve basis. I feel, it restricts several students from getting those experiences in those fields. Exams are not too difficult is one prepares for it. College also provides 1 month PL for exams.

Internships Opportunities :

I have not done any internships by college yet. But other students had done the same. Various companies provides work on the basis of their feild of work. They generally provide research work, drafting works, etc to the interns.

Placement Experience :

Placement is also too good in ILS about 70-80% students got placed, who opts for it. Students from their 8th semester are eligible for placements. But, the college placement cell provides a lot of internship opportunities to the students from their 1st and 2nd year itself. Major Companies and Firms that visit in ILS includes, AZB Legal, Khaitan & Co. Trilegal, etc. Talking about highest package, it is of 19.5 lpa with average package of about 9-12 lpa. I wanted to go for judiciary aftet my college. But, I will also give a try in placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My fees being an OMS candidate for the course of BALLB is 42K to 44K per annum. It differs for MS candidate with 39K to 40K per annum. For OMS, tution fee is 3K per annum and for MS students it is 0. Other fees are same for both MS and OMS, like, administration fee is 200 Rs., Library fee is 200 Rs., E-learning equipments fee is 5500 Rs., Print resources fee is 3850 Rs., Electronic resources fee is 4950 Rs., and many for on the basis of different sports and educational activities.

Campus Life :

College organises a fest in the month of February or March, knows as LegalEase. It also has a very big library with a lot of Books, Bare Acts, Commentaries, Journals, ets. College also provides online database like SCC Online, AIR, Hein Online Lexis Nexus, Lexis Advance, and many more. College has a GYM, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Table Tennis Boards, etc. But their are very less sport competitions.

Hostel Facilities :

Boy's Hostel conditions is not too good, rooms are very small, with very less ratio of Students and Washroom. Room includes a 2 beds, 2 chairs and 2 tables, nothing more. For meal, one has to opt for mess of canteen, Hostel do not provide it. Boy's hostel is pretty affordable and the process for registration starts once the new admission process ends.

Admission :

I preferred this college because it is government aided college. It has less fee than any other college. It took admission through MHCET so the crowd of college is also good. It is one of the best law college in Maharashtra and Tier 2 Law college in overall India. It also provides a good placement. These are the sufficient reason for a student to opt for this college. Talking about MHCET Law, it is Medium difficulty exam. And, Cutoff for OMS students is pretty High but, cutoff for MS students is based on different categories. About 80-85% seats are reserved for MS students only for different categories. Admission process is a littele hectic.

Faculty :

Talking about faculty, they are too friendly to students and are very helpful in all the courses. I would try to avoid the mentioning the name of the faculties but I can make sure that all of them are too good. There are very less or no faculty to dislike. Talking about exam, we had 80/20 exam pattern in which we have 80 marks external exams and 20 marks internal exams, including 10 marks of written exam and 10 marks of Viva. But currently, the exam pattrn is 70/30, in which, we have 70 marks external exam and 30 marks internals, which includes 10 marks for vivas, 10 marks for written exam and 10 marks for class presentations. The above mentioned exam is Semester based.

Placement Experience:

From 5th year students become eligible for campus placements. Around 25-40 percent students get placed every year from each batch. Teir 1 firms like Khaitan, Trilegal, LKS, AzB and partners etc and other local firms of Pune come to our college. Banking institutions like ICICI also provide placement to our students. Average package is around 8-9 lac per annum and highest package is around 16 lac per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is the harsh reality not only of this college but any law college that you'd take admission in ( NLUs are excluded). Course curriculum is formulated in such a manner that it lacks knowledge of practical world . What you learn in college, most of them may not even be relevant when applying in the real ground . So I'd advice you to focus on course curriculum just to score good in exams . Rest focus on getting internships as much as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is average and outdated in that teachers teach for the sake of completion of the syllabus, the college is very well-reputed in the city but the college lacks discipline and accountability, teachers seem qualified but undisciplined, the faculty-student ratio is 1:26 which is really bad no healthy teacher-student interaction is there.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good there are 6 to 7 students who have got PPOs in their 4th year itself. All the famous law firms come to our college, the advantage we have over the other colleges is our location, as our college is based in a prime area of Mumbai, so all the famous law firms' offices are quite nearby. Maybe around 80 percent of students get placed by the end of 5th year, and our placement cell is also very efficient and works very hard for the students.

Education is good here. There is a sufficient number of faculties present here. Most of the faculties have their Ph.D. done. Other faculties have at least a Master's done. Usually, class teaching is preferred with law books and the help of case laws.

I choose the BA LLB course for my career. The quality of teachers is very good to expect some teachers, but Christ University takes care of faculty quality teaching. . Every 2 months one term exam. The difficulty of passing an exam depends on your studying.
