Course Curriculum Overview

4

I literally loved literature specifically eng since my childhood and I secured 98% in English in my 12th boards which motivated me to take this course English is a subject that is non declinable for anyone and anyhow I think new faculties gonna help us in our learning way 3 months is the frequency between exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for BA eng hons for 1st year is 2992 There is no registration fees or any other fees You just have to buy books from your own.college will not provide it There is some relaxation for yearly fees for SC,ST AND OBC They have NDA training available And you can even choose your GE from a science stream although you are from arts stream You will have 2 core classes from 9 15 to 10 45 and then onwards there is GE clss and ESDM clss and ESDM is a compulsary subject for every student

Campus Life

4

Every function is celebrated in our dept basically in arts block and freshers mostly take place in the month of September and farewell takes place in the month of March The infrastructure is good too .

Admission

I chooses BJB as my first preference and by luck I got admission it in too.Beacuse I heard BJB clg is best for eng dept No as I got choosen in my first preference there is no chance of getting rejected by other colleges. So the selection is as per the basis of 12th marks and there is no exam for the selection you just need to register yourself in sams website and then apply for the college you will to join and min is 70%

Faculty

3

There are 7 faculties in our department And some are very friendly as they are very young and our thought process too match as we basically belong from same age group or generation may be From my dept I like ANUSAYA MA'AM and SAROJ SIR are the teachers I found best Anusaya mam was the youngest faculty in our dept and she was friendly and she used to teach us so good I didn't liked ABHISHEK SIR because he was not at all friendly and I couldn't understand his way of teaching it felt like he was teaching himself only So basically there are gonna be two semesters per year and as per new NEP they pattern has changed and the question pattern gonna be turning difficult this year. Whereas SAROJ SIR was our Prior HOD of our dept and I must say he was the most prompt teacher of our dept .he used to teach the basics as well

Placement Experience:

The answer is a big and definite NO!! Campus placements have just become flashing cards for colleges to attract more students. They proudly say on their brochures (500 placed in Infosys,200 placed in TCS. .etc) as though it is a big deal. I think my answer is a bit biased since I studied in THE best engineering college in Karnataka, BMSCE Bangalore, but this can be extrapolated to other students too. For instance, let us take the example of three friends who studied MEchanical Engineering along with me. Let us call them Tom, Dick, and Harry. Tom and Dick were placed through campus placements in TCS in 2010. What happened to them 10 years from now.mechanical engineering so worked in a factory till 2016. Once he learned enough he started traveling and figured now was the time to follow his dreams ( his age was 25 and he did not have any financial obligations so he could quit). He started writing, and today lives peacefully in a village earning a respectable sum, writing content for anit
