Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I have always been excited for joining a PSU that provide better salary over other private jobs. My course ensures basic training and knowledge in the field of research and skill development. The salary scale is very high as the competition in the Gate examination is comparatively less than other branches.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College fees per year- 1 lakh college fees, per semester is 50,000 approximately Examination fees - 4000 per semester approximately Scholarship - 20000 per year( postmetric scholarship) approximately

Campus Life :

IGIT is famous for various functions and events. Just after the admission we enjoy SIP program which continues for 14 days. In that we are made familiar to every college aspects, such as faculty interaction, club interaction, college campus visit, local visit and many more. The Library consists of mostly all the books required for branch subject apart from that many other fun activity books too. Sports experience are also good

Admission :

I got this college on the basis of my JEE rank. I was a Neet dropper but chose to appear JEE for the very first time. Neither could crack neet nor got a better rank in jee. But the rank I secured was enough to get enrolled in a government engineering college. I have suffered all these because I am a student of covid batch and was unable to prepare due to all the problems faced during covid .

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is very bad, some faculties are good but some are very harsh towards student. They don't care about the problems faced by the students. They prefer their problems over the students. Chemical department faculties are good. There is 8 semester in the whole 4 years btech. And 16 internal exams and other lab viva exams. I have faced difficulty in maths exam.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are more than our expectations. From 5th or 6th semester the students become eligible for placements . Companies like TCS,Infosys visit.
