Likes

Campus is situated in a good natural environment.
Faculties are well qualified and friendly in and outside of classroom
Seniors are also friendly and helps in various fields.

Dislikes

Clubs are not that active as you should expect
Students are more interested in functions than placements.
Hostels are not that good architecture wise and not able to give everyone seat in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics engineering is a major developing sector in current world. I was also interested in electronic things so I opted for this course and in this college teachers of our branch are also very good.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 73500 per year

Placement Experience

Campus is good and provides many companies but the only problem is as college is not good ranked in nirf package provided by companies are not as good as provided in other colleges. You have to stay focused in final year and you will get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no reservation so I have to pay 71800 in odd semester that includes college tuition fee, caution money of 2500, alumni fee, internet fee and examination fee and local visit fee. I have to pay 1700 in the even semester for examination fee.

Campus Life

There are clubs for every co curricular activities but except some of them all are not so active. Campus has a very large field and hostels are placed near to each other so that students can maintain a good social life.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not that good in infrastructure but food is adjustable. You can stay in 4 people room in 1st and 2nd year. You can opt between 3 people and 2 people room in 3rd year. You can opt between 2 people and single room in final year.

Hostel Fee: INR 46000 per year

Admission

I had a bad jee mains ranking and I couldn't get a good branch in other colleges like cet and vssut. I got to know I can get good branch in this college so I came here. This college is also ranked third government college in Odisha.

Faculty

Here faculties are well educated and professors are qualified from nits and iits. Teachers are very friendly and well behavioured. Syllabus is made according to gate syllabus. Marking scheme is also good and teachers give good marks except some of them.

Placement Experience:

From 7th or 8th sem students are eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are wipro,tcs and many others like this. Percentage require for getting placement is average of 8.75 My plans after getting the degree is secret.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
