I like the college campus, cultural functions, behaviour of teachers, College environment.
I also like the hostel system and mess food.
Also the geography of this college is wonderful.

Teaching style of teachers,few hostel structures, locality of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are not much difficulties to study this course. I have chosen civil engineering as I like the mechanics part of physics from my intermediate. And the teachers are well enough to make me understand the gist of the concepts.

Class Size: 136Course Fees: INR 16700 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college gives 1 month holiday for internship in 2nd year and 2 month holiday for internship in 3rd year. They provide a official application for each and every student to apply in different institutions for internship. Also they provide a diary to maintain the daily log of works that has been done by us in the internship.

Placement Experience

There are several companies arriving in our college for the placement. The average salary lies between 5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Location of the companies mainly around West Bengal,Maharastra and Karnataka etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total yearly fees 16700(for TFW) which includes Development fee -7000 Lab fees -1500 Student activities-1500 Site visit - 600 Training and placement - 5000 Internet fee - 1000 SSG - 100 For normal or non TWF students the course fee is 28700. Scholarships like e-medhabruti-10000/year, post metric scholarship - 46000/year

Campus Life

Mu overall experience in campus is quite nice. There are several clubs like dance club,music club, coding club, robotics club etc. The club environment is also extremely friendly as senior junior relationship is well maintained there. I have been engaged in a music club as I like singing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite nice but few hostels need to be renovated. Fooding of our each and every hostel is quite nice and hostel facilities are also good including fooding,wifi,room structure etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 46000 per year

Admission

I have been chosen in this college for my JEE mains rank but I wished for OUTR in Bhubaneswar. I didn't choose VSSUT Burla for the ragging issues. But so far the experience in this college is good enough with som ups and downs ofcourse.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is somewhat nice. Our semester papers include a total of 60 marks. As our college is an autonomous college, the semester questions are set by our own teachers and the questions are mostly from the syllabus that we were taught. So the scoring in the exams is kind of easier.

Placement Experience:

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.
