- Campus of this college is very big so you have to walk too much
- There is no facility for laundry so you have to wash your clothes by yourself
Course Curriculum Overview :
In 1st year you have to study all subjects, or you can say that you have to study about every branch's subject. Then from 2nd year you will be divided according to your chosen branch. Till now I don't have to face any kind of problem regarding my branch
Placement Experience :
Placement of this college is not very good but not bad as well. It is very far away from cities so not much companies visits here. But many companies like Bharat Electronics Limited ( BEL) visited here last year for placements. But if you didn't get the campus placement then you can go for off campus pacememts, in fact one student got abroad placement this year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You can opt for this college if you want to have a degree from a reputated government college. The amount of fees you have to pay for your 1st year is 70,400 per year, and if you opt for hostel you have to pay 44,000/- approax per year as a mess fee. Fees might be different branch wise like if you pursue BCA from here then you have to pay 45,000/- approax per year.
Campus Life :
Overall life in this college is good but as you are not at your home so you have to face some difficulties. You can enjoy sports event called "Spardha" and fest called "sentilla" For your enjoyment. In library you can find many books according to your need and as per college curriculum.
Hostel Facilities :
In 1st year hostel there is 3 person in each room of different or same branch. Meal quality of hostel is not good as per me. You might not like the food they prepare for you. For your living they will give you one single bed one table and a chair and you will also get a personal celling fan on top of you area, apart of this you will get a cupboard. All the other things that you want has to be arrange by yourself.
Admission :
I have applied for 5 colleges from which I have got admission in this college. This college is very good for persuing mechanical engineering. I had applied for pantnagar college in which I didn't get seat.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is not too god but its just fine. If you have any kind of problem in any subject then faculties have their seperated cabins and you can go to their cabins in you free time ask about your problems. For exams I would say that you will have two class tests in each semester of 15 marks each which will add upto 30 which will be added in your internal marks
