Remarks :
The college management is very poor in my tenure because the director of our college at my time is a weird and corrupt one so as the new director came we hope for a good college management.
Entrance Preview :
B.t.k.i.t dwarahat is a government engineering college which means a joy in heart when you crack an engineering college seat and also a parents's pressure to opt that college which is not so heavy on their pockets. Thats why i opted out this college[b.t.k.i.t dwarahat.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course that iam studying at this college is electrical engineering which is a difficult one as you have to learn about circuits, phasors ,lead lag diagrams,machines that you have never heard of.so from my point of view electrical engineering is a trickier one so please opt this course if you have that much interest and reading habit.
Internships Opportunities :
Well our college dont provide internships
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are negligible in our college as college is far away from plains thatswhy companies are not interested to come and students are most likely to go for pool placements at nearby colleges like bias{bhimtal}.till 7th semewhich we ster only a single rpo has come to college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As i said it earlier its a government college the fees is very less as compared to other engineering colleges the fees of a semester is approx. 20 k a semester and mess fees is 13k a semester.but this is very less as compared to other engineering colleges
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The government offers tution fee waiver seats for students whose father income are low and also scholarships are given to sc,st students and a little scholarship is also given top 5 of a branch.alumni
Campus Life :
Campus life is not so good.a balanced gender ratio.not so diverse students 80% are from uttarakhand and rest are from other states.labs become old. There are two grounds.competitions are held time to time i will say it a good college but not the best college.
Hostel Facilities :
As i said it earlier its a government college therfore dont expect a delighted cuisine for your dinner or for breakast or for lunch.mess food is not eatabale i rely on canteen for these 4 years.and hostels are shabby,windows are broken and anything is not in its place.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumnis of our college are very helpful an alumni meet is also held at noida recently. infact our college facebook page is run by an alumni.
Exam Structure :
Our college is an autonomous body therefore the exam papers are made in college by examination department and however the college is affiliated to utu. The exam copies are checked by faculties of our college.results are in faculties hands also internal is give according to assignments and attendances.
Admission :
WHEN I SCORED 76 MARKS IN JEE MAIN IN 2015 I FILLED UTU COUNSELLING FORMS TO GET ADMISSIONS IN ENGINEERING COLLEGES. AT FIRST I FILL IT WRONG SO I GOT I.T GOPESWAR IN FIRST ROUND AND THDC TEHRI IN 2ND ROUND COUNSELLING.THEN SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS COLLEGE AND THEN I GOT THIS COLLEGE AT SPOT COUNSELLING.
Faculty :
At first there is a shortage of faculty in our department but 4 years is along time now many faculties on the order ministry of hr and development has come.and now the faculty is full.as the new faculties are from iits they are young and cooperative.and the rest are like teachers from government schools.
