  • Not many events, not a strong moot culture and also not many connections for internships are some of the drawback of our university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After my graduation, I was not sure on what to do and law was something that I looked upon our of curiosity. Today after completing one year, I feel that I took the right decision of coming here. There were colleges in Delhi but I don't they will as good a faculty as ICFAI Dehradun has.

Placement Experience :

Bajaj Capital, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Group as whole have hired students of our university from LLB. Besides that some banks and Indus Law and Khaitan are among the major law firms that have offered intowl jobs to students to ICFAI Dehra with an annual package of 7-8 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for LLB is just 60-65k a year and for BA (LLB), it's totally double. For students of different categories like OBC it's 30% scholarship and for SC/ST it's flat 40% scholarship on the tuition fees of the university.

Campus Life :

UTSAV is main event of ICFAI Dehradun and recently a Law Kriti week was celebrated where top lawyers were invited and we had back to back seminars. Moot court is ther at the university and for law department there is a seperate library which has all the stocks of journals and research papers that we need during our course.

Admission :

NLU Delhi was the only other college which I applied for as they have their own entrance. ICFAI Dehradun accepted my that score and after an interview I was granted admissions here. If I have to mention rejection, yes it was from NLU Delhi.

Faculty :

Faculties here have immense experience in teaching as law studies isn't something that changes frequently. The law that was written is more or less the same the faculties that university hired lets say a decade back is still the part of the university. So experience wise they are one of the top and making us feel home in class is also something they do with ease.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 9 out of 10 as taking Bba llb gives me a lot of opportunities. By taking llb I can go for litigation and bba will help me in entering corporate sectors. The package given by the corporates are quiet impressive.

Remarks:

The positive thing about the college is that it is focussed on giving knowledge to every student even sitting in the last bench. And the faculty is also a positive thing about college. The negative thing is that the college library issue only 4 books at a time and instead of this a book bank should be issued where a book issued once should be returned after the semester exams.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good, but for law, its quite complicated coz no company will directly come and hire you as they do for engineers, yes but still, you have many other chances.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course chosen by me is BALLB its quite practical, and teachers also give more importance to practical rather than bookish knowledge.
