Personal thoughts as a student of PSG College of technology

So the reason I chose this was even though it's a diploma course they do offer certificates of prolog , r programming, digital image processing and python along with Java etc required for artificial intelligence, and the theory classes contain real life problems such as tower of hanoi , etc etc in order to understand the concepts better and grasp the solution.

I'm not very aware of internships as I'm a lateral entry student who's joined the college couple months ago , as of what I heard the internships and quite good and the semester leave we have will be spent on internships along with staipend if working well.

There are two options for people who complete diploma , either they've good score as in above 97-98% , or comparatively many certificates and medals in diff sports. They are capable of getting a job from TCS etc providing an average package of 2.4 LPA as such companies or pursue their higher studies that is B.E in the same of diff college.

So there are two semesters , first semester around 45000 rupees and second semester 20000 rupees , and I'm not aware of the placements yet , scholarships for people belonging to the lower caste is available and based on marks too.

So far even though it's been a year since I've been here they already have conducted two events which was absolutely amazing , well organised and fun. As of social aspects it's really easy to get exposure in this college as they've contacts with people belonging to higher sectors of business, companies etc and they've all resources required for fun as well as education.

I stay in the men's hostel , everything is amazing including the food , staffs etc apart from the few broken furnitures and bathroom doors which they've been working on and hopefully fix it soon , they've given a seperate bed and a cupboard for each in a room as 4 in a room , hostels registration is along with that of the college as well as payment.

I did apply for coimbatore institute of technology, this college as compared to CIT has well infrastructure which CIT lags although being an government college , the education curriculum was different from that of PSG in CIT , on top of which the placements were the best at PSG compared to all the other colleges which brought me to the conclusion of PSG having comparatively the best of this course I've chosen.

My tutor, she's very supportive and helps out with any problems related to studies or not. The course I'm doing is AIMl although it's not available in the options , which comes under department of computer engineering. We've three CA's out of which best two will be selected along with assignment for 25 marks internal , then we've 70 marks theory exam altogether 100 marks.
