Named college in tamil Nadu One of the best college. The aluminies of psg are in all over the globe. It was founded in 1930s nearly 90 yeara years of serving the students by providing a quality education.

The labs are conducted regularly and the lab exams are conducted before third internal exam And finally semester exams are conducted In next semester mark sheet are displayed in notice board

I don't resieve any scholarship offered by college In my class 7 members are studying under the scholarship given by TVS industries and automobiles ltd And one student isin sarwarjana scholarship which includes both tuition fees and hostel accommodation

Campus Life :

Self interest is must in extra curricular activities no one pushes us to do exta cariculars. Cricket Basketball Volleyball Football Badminton Tennis Hockey Kabadi Ncc Nss Red cross Scout Chess Carrom Table tennis Etc are available in our campus

Hostel Facilities :

Nice hostel The hostel has many sceams which can apply for 2 members room, 4 members room. 6 members room and 8 members room at the hostel. The food is also included in the hostel fees Weekly 3 days non veg And has veg menu

Very talented stafs In my department out of 5 staffs 2 are doctorate holders There are 3 exta members as lab assistants and one office staff Each staff is specialist in their own subject More caring and giving 1st class notes to students.

Specialised institute for marine studies in Chennai

Admission:

Admission to the course is based on entrance test conducted by the institute for evaluation and assessment of the candidate. After qualification of the entrance test interview is conducted after qualifying which admission in the course is granted. I opted for the course because I have done a short term course in Maritime domain after my 10+2 so, I wanted to go for higher level program in the domain. This was the specialised institute in the city of my residence that is Chennai so I opted for it.

Placement Experience:

As far as the placements are concerned Institute provide support for the job. However not everyone gets the placement through institutes support. On deck internship is a part of job in this domain. That is the placement that one gets involves the initial time period as an internship period. The institute only provides support for of the deck preparations and internship.
