Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is relevant but some areas like cloud computing and AI need updates,Real World projects and industry relevannt skills like Machine Learning provide solid preparation but more interdisciplinary electives would be beneficial.Teaching could improve by incorporating more practical oriented methods and industry guest lectures.Exams with mid terms and finals fairly spaced but vary in dificulty.Practical exams add to real world application.More flexibility in electives and modernizing the syllabus would enhance the overall experience.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college provides good internship oppurtunities especially starting from the third year.Companies like TCS, Infosys,Cognizant and wipro offer roles such as software developer intern, data analyst intern and IT support intern with stipends ranging 10000 to 20000 rs per month.During Internships students work on real world projects like developi g web applications ,automatiing tasks or analyzing data. These internhips results nin hands on experience and enhance technical skills and sometimes leads to pre placement offer based on performannce.

Placement Experience

5

Placements at my college typically start from 6th semester with studenst becoming eligible to participate.Top companies like TCS, wipro,Infosys, Accenture and many more visit the campus regularly, offering variety of roles such as software developer, data analyst and system engineer and many more depending on the company. The highest package secured was around 30lpa while average package range arounf 4-6 lpa.Around 80% students secure placemnets by the end of the course. After gettung my degree,I plan to pursue a career in software developmet or explore higher studies in specialized fields like Data Science

Fees and Financial Aid

1)Year Wise Fees Structure: Year 1: ->Tution fee after scholarship : 14500rs per year with a 50% scholar ship due to 90% above score in 12th grade. ->Hostel Fee : 92500rs per year ->Caution Deposit(One time):10000rs(paid only in first year) and is refundable after 4th year. Year 2 and subsequent years: ->Tution fee : 145000rs/year ->Hostel Fee : 92500rs per year 2) Scholarship Details: ->50% Scholar Ship : For students scoring above 90% in 12th grade ->25% Scholarship: For students who have above 80% score in 12th ->10% scholarship : For students who have above 70% score in 12th

Campus Life

5

Campus life is vibrant with various social events and clubs to engage in.The annual and cultural event Lavaza is held in March along with flash mobs and celebrations for every festival. These are active students run clubs like NSS,Arts, Drama,UBA which enhance student interactions and offer leadership oppurtunitues. The library is well stocked with good range of books and journals, though more digital resources could improve accessibility. Classrooms are equipped with basic technology like projectors but could use more advanced tools.Sports facilities and extra curicular activities are widely available offering a balanced campus life

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility all amenities including a bed, study table ,chair and a shared bathroom. The meal quality is so good with daily non veg, though the menu could have more variety. The registration process goes online like book after pay.and the hostel quite affordable compared to outside rentals. The locality is safe with easy access to nearby shops and public transport making it convinient for staying on campus.Overall the hostel premises provides a comfortable living experience for the price

Admission

I applied to college like VIT and manipal but chose this one for its affordable fees, strong placement records and industry relevant curiculam.while I recieved confirmed admissions from both VIT and this college,I chose this due to its smaller class size anf better faculty student interaction.I didn't make it to manipal as I could not clear their higher cutoff in entrance exam. The admission process here involved an their own entrance test for giving scholar ship and also they will consider 12th score for scholarship if you haven't written their entrance test and the cutoffs were competittive but manageable.Overall the process was smooth and well organized

Faculty

5

1)Faculty to student ratio was relatively balanced around 1:20 in most departments. This allows for decent interaction with professors.Faculty students relation ships were generally positive.Professors were approchable especially for academic guidance and project related questions. 2)Faculty members I liked ->Dr,Anil Sharma(DSA): He was highly knowledgable and had a knack for breaking down complex concepts into simpler explanations. ->Neha Gupta : She was a great mentor for practical and real world applicatuons of database systems. Her teaching methods included project based learning. ->Ravi Kumar : He was among best professors when it came to teaching modern technologies. 3)Faculty members I Didn't like: ->Sathish Patel: He had more rigid ,lecture heavy teaching style.he often focus on theory without linking to practical applications ->Priya Sharma : Her classes were disorganized. 4)Course Structure: The course structure was fairly standadized with credit based system.THe first year was more about foundational courses(maths, physics, basic programming). In final year capstone project was mandatory.Coming to exam system each semester have 2 unit tests and 2 mid tests.Mostly all will pass as level of exams was easy.

Placement Experience:

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
