- College is very good in terms of value for money. We are felicitated with all necessary labs, smart classes, lecture halls.
- Multiple societies for various domains. Helps to find the interest and explore it further. From dance to technical, debate, many societies that give hands on experience on various tasks and events.
- College does conduct many hackathons and they are very exciting.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum may be little outdated but still has the core concepts of my course(computer science and engineering). There is a little gap between the industry demand and the curriculum but still I think it is necessary as a fundamental concept in my domain. This the course atleast prepares for pursuing higher studies. Maybe we can stick to even more coding part that is to more industry demand skills in a course from first year itself instead of the subjects like mechanical engineering or engineering graphics lab or even engineering mechanics. The course should give room to students for choosing programing langauge themselves which will falicitate in making even more industry ready.
Placement Experience
Students of 4th year are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Josh, Airtel, jio offer jobs in the campus. Highest package this year till now is offered by Josh 14lpa. Average package is about 6lpa this year. There are even companies like tcs, Infosys that hire students at large scale. For the 14lpa of Josh technologies 3 profiles were shortlisted. I plan to pursue masters in business administration from a good foreign University like pensylvania.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees paid for my course is 137900. This is for 2nd year. But the fees keeps on decreasing at each consecutive year. So the fees for 2022-2026 batch that is for the students currently in 3rd year is 130600. And the fees for the students currently in 4th year is 113800.
Campus Life
There are many events in college. From dandiya night, dj nights to fests, cultural parties etc. There is also technical fest named "technoutsav". Library is well equipped with all necessary research papers, journals, books, computers, softwares, newspapers. Multiple liberties are present for different domains and courses. Classrooms are not air conditioned but are well equipped with all necessary establishments. Labs are air conditioned, equipped with computers, softwares, Wifi. There are many societies focusing on sports that organise various sports events and meets often this giving a nice platform for the students intersted in sports. We have facility for both indoor and outdoor games. College id cards are checked to enter the college to avoid any unwanted accident.
Admission
I applied in BPIT, USAR and even got seat in them but did not choose them as they lacked the key things. BPIT is poor in placement now. It was better but now it's poor. USAR does not have computer science and engineering course that I wanted. Where ADGITM is much better in placements in comparison with BPIT. And offers courses that I wanted. The admission process in ADGITM is through JEE only. Average cutoff for my course is about 200000 today due to many new branches like AI being introduced in many colleges thus increasing the cutoffs throughout.
Faculty
All faculties are very supportive, helpful and friendly. The mentain their respect as a teacher in class and expects the same from the students. They teach well in class. Timely compete the syllabus. And often provide notes and previous year papers for practice. They are even available to ask doubts if any and also to discuss the future aspects in the career. There are usually 2 mid term exams (30 marks each) in a semester followed by the end term semester exams. Mid terms are of medium level. Almost every student even if 40% of the syllabus is covered gets good score. End-term exams are also easy but atleast 70% of the syllabus should be well versed to score good grades. Otherwise you can easily just pass the exam even just covering 30% of the syllabus. That is out of 4 units, just covering 1.5.
