Remarks :

As this college doesn't provide any campus facility,so it is not a good decision to join this college. Management is very good in maintaning college law and order but steps are taken for providing job opportunities.

Entrance Preview :

This College will need a valid AIEEE Rank. A higher Rank will give you freedom to pick Branch of your choice from ECE,EEE,ME,CS,IT Brances.I was searching a college with less fees and thus I opted this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 5 Branches for engineering in this college.College offer Ece,Eee,Me,Cs,It Brances.Pharmacy and MBA courses are also available. It is affiliated by AICTE and PTU Ludhiana . All the courses,Practicals are guided under PTU standards.

Internships Opportunities :

It helps student to get good offers in industry but salary offered by them is very less.

Placement Experience :

This is the main problem.From past few years placements are very low and college don't pay any attention for jobs.College have only one post for TPO and there is no participation of students in placements cell.Not a single company visits college.

College Events :

Yearly Fests are organised in college premises. Few Punjabi Album videos are shooted in college premises and sometimes Punjabi actors come to college for movie promotions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is normal and no extra money is taken at any point of time.It is around 45 K per semester. No extra money is taken for Practicals,fests or any other events. 10 k is taken at point of admission. Some Rs 800 taken for filling exam forms for each semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No such facilities are offered by college. For education loan students can get letters from college easily but for all other formalities students have to run around Banks.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels for boys is inside college premises while girls hostel are in Mohali. There are also lot of opportunities in near by town Kharar,Mohali and Chandigarh.Food and mess facility are very good.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

This is a plus point of college .Exams are held on time with proper schedules and structure.One final exam per semester,3 unit exams,Practicals,Vivas are held. Attendence are also taken into consideration in final marksheets.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university.
