Dislikes

I've heard about some hostel problems but I didn't opted for hostel so I don't know about the problems.
Some issues are faced by other department students but they are also fulfilled with the help of student council

Course Curriculum Overview :

The datesheet of end semester exams are provided by NEP by the time exams come faculty completes all the number of classes and you get some prepration time also before exams . The difficulty level of exam is fair for the graduation level.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 26000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As I am still in second year so I haven't done any internships yet. But I've heard from my seniors about summer internships and winter internships provided under the guidance of faculties and in the fourth year of hons degree the interships are provided.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year wise fees is 26000 of 2 semesters The admission fees in the first semester is paid 7000 which means the first semester fees will be total 20000 . Some students were awarded with the amount of 5k to 8k on the basis of their 12th class gardes like between 80% to 90% marks.

Campus Life :

There are 2 to 3 fest in a year at the time of festivals like navratri or diwali and holi. The library has all the books needed in every subject of college including novels. There are smart boards in most of the classes and more are coming soon. There many clubs and groups like nss ncc dance club singing club drama club litrature club.

Admission :

Doon University has it's own entrance exams for each subject. Eligibilty is 50% in your 12th exam board. Cutoffs depends on the competition but some subjects are available for walk in admission also which are new. Those subjects can be checked on the website of doon university at the time of admission .

Faculty :

Most of the faculty is very good and helpful and approachable for students. There are mainly 4 exams in one year session two mid terms and 2 end semesters. Exams are not that hard not that easy if you attend classes you can score good.

HEC college is one of the oldest and the best managed self-financed college in Haridwar (Uttarakhand). HEC College provides under graduates, Post graduate, PG diploma courses. The Application form can be obtained from college. To get admission the student should have completed class 12 and must give Entrance exam and the student will be called for admission if selected.

Placement Experience:

The college focuses on Value based education. They have a Placement Cell which provides students with internship and job opportunities. Many companies like HCL, HDFC, just dial, paytm etc come and recruit the students.

Remarks:
