I liked the campus of chandigarh university. It is very big and beautiful. It is fun to explore the campus

Dislikes

My classes are on 7th floor and there no lift facility. So its very difficult to climb the stairs to 7th floor
75% attendance : you have to maintain 75% attendance otherwise you get detained in exams

Internships Opportunities :

My seniors were started to have internship in 2nd year only and some got placed in 3rd year only . CU gives training from 1st semester that how to give interview for job , how to develop skills . So internships are very easily available to every student

Placement Experience :

Placements of CU is average. If you maintain around 8 CPG . Then you will get easily placed . If not then create linked in profile and list their your skills and courses which you pursued(courses will be given by CU of Coursera)

You can take upto 100% scholarship

Campus Life :

I think Chandigarh University is best and far better than others universities in Campus Life , club involvement, social activities. Weekly there are fests in which celebrities come like recently Tashan Nights was in campus Many celebrities came like Shehnaaz Gill , Raj Kumar Rao , Tripti Dimri , Sabi Bhinder etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is very good . Mess food is excellent . There are total four meals Breakfast , Lunch , Tea with snacks and Dinner. Always there is curd or raita in lunch , always tea with snacks , tea is also in breakfast and sweet dish in dinner .There are every facility in hostel like lift , gym (gym is free) stationary, grocery shop and food courts also.

Hostel Fee : INR 120000 per year

Admission :

I chooses Chandigarh University over other university because i can pursue my course in luxury college with such a beautiful campus and good placements . Also i choose this college for scholarship. Eligibility for engineering in CU is min 50%-75% in 12th with non medical after that you just have to give the entrance exam which is for scholarship.

Faculty :

Ratio of faculty to students are very good . There are total 3 exams in semester that is MID SEMESTER TEST-1 , MID SEMESTER EXAM 2 and END SEMESTER EXAM . Exam are easy if study day to day . Although CU is very good at providing students study material .

Early internship and placement opportunities with good infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

In CSE, companies start to come in 6th semester for campus placements (few companies also come in 5th). In my course around 70% students secure placements. The highest package offered last year was 52 LPA and the average package is 5LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco, Paypal, Virtusa, Deloitte, among others.

A Place to Fulfill Your Dreams

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is outstanding. From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like amazon, flipkart, IBM, and many more visited last year. The highest package was 31 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for masters from usa.

Review of UIET CHANDIGARH

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students are eligible for placements. About 50+ companies visit campus every year and 250+ offers were made to students. The highest package this year has been 42 LPA average 9.1 LPA . Profiles offered are Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst etc. The percentage of students placed is about 47.5%. To secure placement in a core ECE Company is my plan after my degree

Remarks:

Management is worst,they only want student to be suffer not University repo,they send to student from one block to other.and other to another block if in any case of student's work related to any documents work.

Admission:

Here admission process is direct without any interview entrance exam ,any body have above 59% in their 12th is eligible for take admission in any stream and their respective department.If you want take admission go to their official site and contact them.

Remarks:

Had infrastructure and was a developing college also better investment in done in terms of placements.The moment you will visit this university you will be mesmerised by its attractive campus,you will feel free to speak in any topic as our vice chancellor hears each and everyone one even being in a busy schedule,if you are not satisfied by any teacher aur his way of teaching you can mail the chancellor or other higher authorities.Teachers are helpful and environment of campus is very good with lots of greenery.Every month we have tashan nights where well known singers and DJ players like sun burn entertain us,also so many bollywood stars come here to do there movie promotion.The placements of our college is good and if you opt for computer science you will be surely get a good placement if you study well and work hard,there will be always an opportunity to be in companies like Amazon,flipcart, microsoft if and if you are eligible to get there.

Remarks:

PEC is One of the best university after IITs, has good placements and oppurtunities. The program is well defined and the entire semester i.e. 6th semester is the best thing about PEC through which one gets experience of the corporate world and can make clear decisions, we also have chances of Pre placement offer(PPO) and are then free in 4th year to do whatever one aims for, preparing for better companies or post grad. Hostels are also there in campus which also is beneficial. The placement cell works really hard for placements and internships and placement percentage has increased significantly. Besides other NITs, PEC is far better in terms of placements and its engineering program. One must surely try to secure admission here in case one could not in IIT. PEC also has good relations and reputation in companies which also leads to its increased placements percentage. Fees also is reasonable and there are scholarships available for girls and many more. Also Chandigarh city adds to inclination towards PEC, it has oppurtunities for learning courses like for Post grad, for GATE or MBA, good coaching classes are available. The clubs and societies in the college are also very motivating, they build confidence and one learns a lot from seniors, interacting with them and learning many more things other than what club offers. Though PEC has a lesser rank than many NITs and other universities, it is due to its infrastructure and hostels, but not due to academics and placements, they are far better than many institutions listed before PEC in the MHRD ranking. Considering PEC as an option for undergraduate is worth if you can’t opt for IIT.
