Staff at the college is quite friendly with the students.
The amenities and facilitates at the college are quite up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is quite good. You are provided with various subjects to choose for studing. There are 2 compulsory subjects of punjabi ( for those who have studied punjabi upto 10th srandard)/ History and culture of punjab and English.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee to be paid was almost 20k while I was doing my bachleors. The fee structure is as per Panjab University rules. The course is quite affordable and provide good learning opportunities for the students.

Campus Life :

Campus life is great. You could enjoy various fests organised by the college. Hostel nights for the hostellers. Annual fest with various activies provide you a place to escape for your daily routine. The college also organises trips tovarious destinations.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel accommodation is great. The warden is cooperative and food is also quite good expect few days. You won't regret your stay in the hostelas they organise various functions for the residents staying in there.

Hostel Fee : INR 110000 per year

Admission :

The environment of this college is quite good as compared to the other colleges. The staff is cooperative and you are provided with basic amenties which are required on daily basis. As it is girls college , it feels safe in there.

Faculty :

The staff at the college is quite understanding and friendly. Staff members are always there to help you and are very cooperative. The professors are experiened and provide a glimpse of there career in teaching.

Reality of dav college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of arts is a good course which can be done easily and it is good to do this course if u want to go in civil services I chose it do perform well in upsc cause it covers the syllabus of upsc There are some faculty who are rude and i dont like them and also dont understand their way of teaching Exams timing are good and anyone can enjoy and study during this course you will not be in huge pressure ! And i liked it thats why this course is must fir upsc and other civil services aspirants It will cover their syllabus and u will get to know more about subjects more effectively

Course Curriculum Overview:

The major reason for choosing the course is that I want to prepare for civil services and most of the syllabus of that is covered in B.A and I also thinks that I will be able to inderstand the functioning of our finance ministry and other institutions. Remarks:

Location was Chandigarh's best sector, it's well known for it's teachers and studies, Nearby Panjab University, Has a big playground, Has most of the facilities which are required in college life. Opted foe this course as I was clear about it. And choosed college because it fulfilled all my requirements.
