- The campus and the environment around here is very good and healthy , there r trees around the clouds it always gives you a naturally feeling .
- The staff and the professors are the professionals doctors . They all are post graduated and so intelligent we could learn so many things in one go from them . And they are too freindly too
Dislikes
- Language barrier will come for sure . You have to understand kannada to get adjust soon
- College is away from the main campus . Hostels are not near the college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The cirriculum is strictly followed here . The NCISM that is nation council of medical science in India gives an curriculum which should be followed by college to be a good doctor and live the society. And that curriculum is strictly followed here . Thats why all word wise yenepoya ayurvedic medical college stands at 9th ranking
Internships Opportunities :
As a doctor you should be having practical knowledge about everything. So the practicals are held in every week for 4.5 years giving youbsolid knowledge about medical feild and human body and then last 1 year you have a intership program where you have to treat a patient under the supervision of doctors present there . And also during intership no hostel and college fees are taken by the college . Intership will include 8 months of ayurvedic practice in ayurveda hospital and 4 months of modern practice in morden medical hospital
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
See the fee structure is very systematic and affordable comparing to other courses You have 2 option - to pay yearly or after every 6 months Total course fee is 18,95000 And there are 9 semester in total Sem 1 - 2,45,000 Sem 2 - 2,06,250 Sem 3 - 2,06,250 Sem 4- 2,06,250 Sem 5 - 2,06,250 Sem 6- 2,06,250 Sem 7- 2,06,250 Sem 8 - 2,06,250 Sem 9 - 2,06,250 And there are schlorships present every year if you pass you university exam with distinction and above 75% some amount from your fee will be given back to you
Campus Life :
The yenepoya university is know for its infrastructure and the campus . The campus is spreaded over a 80-90 acre of medical college here. Full of nature and a bit of modern touch is also there . The college is very flexible for the field events including sports, trips , educational trips , events, camps etc etc . As you gonna be future doctor you should be having a lot experience about the patient life . And the camps is provided every year to get you that patient doctor interactuon and so that you can be ready to be a good doctor in the society
Hostel Facilities :
See the hostel is quite big and holds around 1000 students. And the meal is varient . You will get veg nonveg both options every day . And it includes breakfast with tea bread butter jam and main breakfast dish which includes dosa,puri bhaji, idli etc and also snacks are provided. Lunch and dinner is provided with the great quality and different varieties
Admission :
The cut off list here is very low . In this competitive world in medical feild it is hard to get admission in any of the college despite paying high fees . But in this college the merit is low and fee comparitively is affordable for any middle class person . The admission process is through the NEET-UG exam you have to pass that and score the uptill the merit list given here . And the admission process is very smooth here . You will not find any difficulties in the admission process
Faculty :
The faculty here is highly educated and knowledgeable. You go them and just have a talk you will still get full of knowledge from them . There are about 50-60 members of teaching staff here . There is university exam after every 3 sem exams . All the papers are of 100 marks . And every subject consist of paper 1 and paper 2
