Course Curriculum Overview :
Firstly i saw this from a youtube channel after that i started to search about this. This searching makes me more interest to this course mainly this course this for camcer patients and with radiations. This thought me in different way this all are the reasons why i took this course and also im suggesting this course to everyone beacuse coming future it has a good scope. We all know a cancer patients are increasing day by day. The main thing is students should be interested in physics beacuse physics is the main thing in this course. Im suggesting my college firstly (yenapoya) and in manglore there are some college where this course is available( kmc etc) students who likes physics should search about tjis course beacuse it will very interesting for you peoples to give radiation, treatment camcer patients and to hold their to overscome this diseases
Internships Opportunities :
Intership is based on our field not every hostipal contain the facilities. Only they give the facilities based on our performances. And i dont have any experience about intership beacuse im 2nd year student. There is 1 year left to do intership
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In this college for my course which is radiotherapy(starts newly and i am 2nd batch of this course) i paid around 2 and half lakhs in 1 year for this course the tuition fees should be pay 65000 in every semester. There will 8 semester in 4 years and hostel fees is 85000 starting per year it will increase year by year. For normal seat last year will be free for hostellers. There are many scholarships for students based on their marks(eg:+2 marks, sslc marks etc)and the fees will reduce along with it.The scholarship for students who has higher mark in physics, chemistry, biology this scholarship offers 25% discount on course fees. The other scholarships are for students who studying degree programs who score 80% or higher on their PUC or qualifying exmanination and scholarships for mbbs, bds students who score above 90%. Yenapoya University also offers fees concessions and scholarship form central and state government.
Campus Life :
Rangrez is the latest prgrame held in yenapoya. There were thousands of books and journal avaliable in the library which is help full for the students in their carrier or simply reading etc . The facilties are very close to the students and help the students in every situation they were facing based on this field In my opinion this campus i will give first place for giving importants in other activities like sports, programes etc This college has an app which is yenapoya students portal which include each and every details about the students and upadte the students things like attendence percentage, exam results, fees results etc
Hostel Facilities :
Every room contain bed, cupboard,fan, etc. They gave every facilities to students in their room. They also gave bucket, mug,plate, glass etc which are useful for the students.They also contain laundry except sunday. About the menu the food is good compared to other hostel. They give speacial menu during ramzan time for muslims with charge. Each and every month they will update the menu with different food in manglore. They also cook kerala food and there will be a special sweets in weekend. Sunday will be chicken biriyani. They also give egg, fish, milk etc for the students based on menu. Based on the food and facilities the hostel is affordable beacuse there will be no other expense for students cause everthing is getting from here only. Also they will change if any student complaint on that particular food.
Faculty :
Here, In this college faculties are very good, friendly and understandable. They are very supportive for every activities and works. Sometimes they create some seminar to make us know that the crowd fear is nothing and that makes us to talk infromt of everyone without any fear. In practical subjects they give us works to do for our experience.They helps to improve our studies by giving us activites. My one of favorite faculties is my programme cooridnator(dr jayapalan) he makes us think differently sometimes his motivation makes me encourages in this field and faculties like physiology, anatomy sir etc. are also my favourite teachers For our course there are 6 semester exam to left and inbetween there is 2 internal exam also. In my class one of them was failed but he can rewrite the exam on this coming semester.
Interview Experience :
During the admiission there were many processes first they will start the process only if we pay the fees. After paying the fees they will ask about our details. And there will be counselling section and they also contain a exam. Exam will be just basic only. They only do the next step if we complete the previous one. Interview was not that diificult just basics and normal questions only
