  • THings i disliked is how they conduct few programs at the evening which is right after the classes for few students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose BCA because i was interested in computer since start. See everyone has to choose course which makes them comfortable and easy to learn. Dont choose any course beacause of any forcement, It wil do no good to you guys.

Internships Opportunities :

As i am a first year i've got no idea right now but when asked the seniors, they said the internship all depends on the students hand. It is based on there creativity and logical analysis the internship depends.

Placement Experience :

As i have heard from my seniors the placements are good. It all depends in our creativity and knowledge on how to tackle the outside problems. The highest package must be around 3500000 and lowest package must be around 100000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year wise payemnt the students haveto do for BCA course is ruppees115000 respectively. While for NRI's it is kinda higher, it will be around 200000. For UG course the registration fees is about 800 ruppees , for PG courses it is 1000 rupees , for MBA it is 1200 rupees and for MCA it is 1200 as well. Lab fees will be included along with the fees. And as for scholarships the college provides scholarships for studies, sports and extracurricular activities.

Campus Life :

Over all experience is wonderful. The college vibes is real. Fun , with both students and faculties. ANd the range of books present in library is uncountable. Books of each department and subjects are present in library . and also question papers of each exams are also present. And there are many clubs run by faculties which are coheld by students . It is a privilege to participate in all the clubs, events and social groups which makes us feel ecstatic.

Hostel Facilities :

The college provides 5 hostels for girls and 2 hostel for boys. I chose Nava jyoti study house. The fees is around 69000 for triple sharing with washroom. And for double sharing without washroom is 90000 and with washroom is around 82000. And for single shring it is arounf 95000. The locality of the hostels is around the college. THe place is called Kothanur, BAnglore

Admission :

Personally i got many other prominet collegs as well like Christ university, St joseph univeristy and all. THe main thing was these colleges i applied was a course which i didnt have any interest in. There was no such specialization as i cose right now. And also the fees is damn high in these colleges apart from KJC. KJC fees are comparatively higher than other colleges. The admisiion process of this colleg is through interview. If you are seletced for interview you will be mailed by the authoritatives saying you are accepted.

Faculty :

Faculty members are very good. They are chill and friendly when needed and strict when studies are the matter. Overall they are good just ike typical good teachers. Each faculty changes from each department. As since i am first year, the exam right now conducted is mid term examination and there are class tests conducted after each units are completed. For 1st years the exams are comparatively easy for those who know the concepts very well.

Overall the course still now is quite good And my motive of choosing this specialization was firstly my interest in this field and secondly it's importance in the job market now.. But there are certain areas which can be improved..

Placement Experience:

As a former student of this institution, I am compelled to share my disillusioning experience. The college's brochure boasted impressive placement statistics, but the reality was starkly different. Out of 240 students in my batch, a mere 10-15 secured job placements, resulting in an abysmal placement ratio of approximately 4-6. This was a clear indication of the institution's failure to deliver on its promises. The brochure's claims of "excellent placement opportunities" and "top-notch companies" were nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Only one tech company visited our campus, offering a modest package of 3.6 LPA, while the remaining companies were sales-based with negligible packages that hardly justified the effort and investment put into earning a degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is very good. We get offers from companies like DE Shaw, Accenture, etc and the best part we have 100% placement. Students should not have any backlogs and they should have atleast 70% so they will be eligible to sit in the placements. And the process of placements starts from 3rd year i.e.5th sem

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester if they don't have any backlogs in any previous semesters. The companies that visited our campus was IBM, INFOSYS, CAPGEMI, etc.. The highest package offered was 7Lpa to 9LPA, THE average package offered was 3.5 to 5 Lpa and the lowest package offered was 2Lpa . The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the student, if he or she didn't have any backlogs in the previous semesters, but the percentage of the students getting placed was 50 to 60%. My plans after degree was to do work in. Software development firm, but now i am studying my masters from Manipal University of Jaipur.

Presidency college of a report, a placement rate with a majority of students, securing jobs before graduation college placement cell work, actively to connect students with the top employed in IT software data and it takes finance et cetera. Many well-known companies in Tech in finance, including Wipro, TCS, Accenture and cognizant are known to recruit from presidency College of and provide training sessions which include skill development in areas like aptitude, technical knowledge, coding and soft skills which can make a big difference in interviews. While average package from this college would be around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. The students from the 5th semester are eligible for the campus placements. The companies that visit the campus are not so well known and mostly offer 4lpa package. The highest package offered by the companies in this college is 4lpa and the minimum is 2lpa. There is around 60% placement rate of the high scoring students Im planning to do the masters too after this degree.
