  • As being a swimmer the college not having a swimming pool is a huge drawback

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose my course Bca as it is full based on computer learning. As it is the main aspect in the future. Me wanting to learn more about computers was the major reason I chose Bca . The teachers could try to help us even more as it is very complicated. The time given for exams is good as I get enough time to write my exams.

Internships Opportunities :

There are a lot of internships starting from the second year but we have to beware of the scammers as I almost paid a thousand rs to some person who sent a mail to my college email regarding internship. As I am just in my first year I haven't had the chance to do any projects

Placement Experience :

From second year students are eligible for campus placements . There is plenty of choices for the students to choose from. Many MNCs companies have approached our college for giving placements. The highest was 12LPA and average is 2.5LPA. My plan is to go for masters(MCA)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I'm just a first year I first paid a total of 70000rs when I got the admission then after 3 weeks of class I was asked to pay the rest 55000rs approx .Registration fees was 500rs and admission fees was 2000rs or so.There are a lot of scholarships available but I was not lucky enough to get any.For boba it is around 1.6 lakhs. The uniform fees was 3500 and my hostel fees is 80000 excluding the mess fees. The mess fees averages to about 4500 per month.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of festivals including the ethnic day ,Christmas and all. There is a total of 4 libraries in the campus with around 70000 books in each. There is basketball courts in the college campus and a sport arena 1 km away with volleyball, cricket and a football ground.

Hostel Facilities :

My room consists of a single sharing, double sharing ,kitchen, bathroom and a hall. It is very convienent. I stay in the single sharing room. I had full a lot of documents and pay the whole fees at the beginning itself. I have taken a different mess as there is no mess in my hostel.

Admission :

I applied in Kristy Jayanti and Christ university . When I went for the interview in Christ I chocked when they asked to talk about a topic I didn't know . That's what made me lose my admission there. In Kristu Jayanti the admissions are simple first we have to apply then there is online interview where they verify our documents and ask us questions.I got in cause I had good marks

Faculty :

So the college has around 14000 students including the pg and ug students. There are a lot of teachers and the teacher to student ratio is 1:40 or so.Which is okay. My class consists of 72 students and it's a big class.i like all the faculties. So in one semester there are two exams where one is the midterm and the other is finals. Around 90 percent of the students pass the exams.

Night Life :

There are a lot of gyms and cafeterias near the college. The night life is pretty cool here . The college closes around 9pm so students can come play till that time. My hostel closes at 9 pm which is good. There are plenty of cafes like Korieato, rkc, aok, dragon view etc.

Overall the course still now is quite good And my motive of choosing this specialization was firstly my interest in this field and secondly it's importance in the job market now.. But there are certain areas which can be improved..

Placement Experience:

As a former student of this institution, I am compelled to share my disillusioning experience. The college's brochure boasted impressive placement statistics, but the reality was starkly different. Out of 240 students in my batch, a mere 10-15 secured job placements, resulting in an abysmal placement ratio of approximately 4-6. This was a clear indication of the institution's failure to deliver on its promises. The brochure's claims of "excellent placement opportunities" and "top-notch companies" were nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Only one tech company visited our campus, offering a modest package of 3.6 LPA, while the remaining companies were sales-based with negligible packages that hardly justified the effort and investment put into earning a degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is very good. We get offers from companies like DE Shaw, Accenture, etc and the best part we have 100% placement. Students should not have any backlogs and they should have atleast 70% so they will be eligible to sit in the placements. And the process of placements starts from 3rd year i.e.5th sem

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester if they don't have any backlogs in any previous semesters. The companies that visited our campus was IBM, INFOSYS, CAPGEMI, etc.. The highest package offered was 7Lpa to 9LPA, THE average package offered was 3.5 to 5 Lpa and the lowest package offered was 2Lpa . The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the student, if he or she didn't have any backlogs in the previous semesters, but the percentage of the students getting placed was 50 to 60%. My plans after degree was to do work in. Software development firm, but now i am studying my masters from Manipal University of Jaipur.

Presidency college of a report, a placement rate with a majority of students, securing jobs before graduation college placement cell work, actively to connect students with the top employed in IT software data and it takes finance et cetera. Many well-known companies in Tech in finance, including Wipro, TCS, Accenture and cognizant are known to recruit from presidency College of and provide training sessions which include skill development in areas like aptitude, technical knowledge, coding and soft skills which can make a big difference in interviews. While average package from this college would be around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Placement Experience:

The students from the 5th semester are eligible for the campus placements. The companies that visit the campus are not so well known and mostly offer 4lpa package. The highest package offered by the companies in this college is 4lpa and the minimum is 2lpa. There is around 60% placement rate of the high scoring students Im planning to do the masters too after this degree.
