  • The computer labs in the college are not up to date, they lag a lot and are not maintained time to time.
  • Teachers target the students a lot, we used to feel like a jail acter entering the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main aspect of me chosing BCA is my love for computers and coding languages. The curriculum prepares u in such a way that u are completely ready to face the outside world without any drawbacks. There were some teachers who even didn't know English properly, so training then would be a better thing. We had 2 internal assessments for the whole semester, and 1 semester exam for 6 months.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester if they don't have any backlogs in any previous semesters. The companies that visited our campus was IBM, INFOSYS, CAPGEMI, etc.. The highest package offered was 7Lpa to 9LPA, THE average package offered was 3.5 to 5 Lpa and the lowest package offered was 2Lpa . The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the student, if he or she didn't have any backlogs in the previous semesters, but the percentage of the students getting placed was 50 to 60%. My plans after degree was to do work in. Software development firm, but now i am studying my masters from Manipal University of Jaipur.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure for a entire year was of ?46,000 and per semester ?23,000. I had paid registration fees, lab fees and other maintenance charges per year. My batch mates had the same fees structure, There are many scholarships for students like NSP etc... i dont know all the scholarships names as i hadn't applied for any scholarships till date.

Campus Life :

We didn't have many social events or clib invlolment, We had fests like mehendi competition 2 or 3 time help during month of September October, And then sports was held once when i was in 2nd sem before lockdown. The library in the college has a amazing collection of books and journals related to every field, which we could borrow the book and give it a complete study. We didn't have any advanced technologies in the classrooms but a dice so that the faculties do focus even in the last desk students. We had a student portal where our exams timetable , hall ticket and results were declared.

Admission :

Well i had not applied to any other colleges, i directly joined this college as my father and uncle had studied in the same college. I didn't get rejected from any college and i had not written my CET exams as i was pretty sure about joining the BCA course in al ameen institute of information science. The admission process in our college is so simple, The eligibility for the admission was 40% in puc boards, I paid 500 for the admission process and when i had my first day i cleared my 1st sem fees completely.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio was quite well. They used to approach us even if we had a slighest doubt on their subjects. My favourite faculty was Mohammedi mam who was our HOD and also our programming faculty, Our best faculties were Mohmmedi mam, mohan sir, Khan sir etc.. There are some faculties such as mubeen mam who i didn't like as she used to get very arrogant and for even a single small mistake she used to take us to the principal office.

Night Life :

We didn't have gym, cafeteria in our college, We just had a library, canteen where the library used to be open from 9Am in the morning to 6pm in the evening, and the canteen was open from 8Am to 4pm in the evening. We could eter the college anytime in the morning after 7Am. We didn't have any hangout places in the college but outside we had Lalbagh Botanical Garden , and the locality is too safe in the night times as well.

Other Applied Colleges

Al Ameen Institute of Information Sciences - [AIIS] | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

As i had less percentage in my 12th boards, I had very less options but hopefully i got a good college with amazing campus and the best teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall the course still now is quite good And my motive of choosing this specialization was firstly my interest in this field and secondly it's importance in the job market now.. But there are certain areas which can be improved..

Placement Experience:

As a former student of this institution, I am compelled to share my disillusioning experience. The college's brochure boasted impressive placement statistics, but the reality was starkly different. Out of 240 students in my batch, a mere 10-15 secured job placements, resulting in an abysmal placement ratio of approximately 4-6. This was a clear indication of the institution's failure to deliver on its promises. The brochure's claims of "excellent placement opportunities" and "top-notch companies" were nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Only one tech company visited our campus, offering a modest package of 3.6 LPA, while the remaining companies were sales-based with negligible packages that hardly justified the effort and investment put into earning a degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is very good. We get offers from companies like DE Shaw, Accenture, etc and the best part we have 100% placement. Students should not have any backlogs and they should have atleast 70% so they will be eligible to sit in the placements. And the process of placements starts from 3rd year i.e.5th sem

Presidency college of a report, a placement rate with a majority of students, securing jobs before graduation college placement cell work, actively to connect students with the top employed in IT software data and it takes finance et cetera. Many well-known companies in Tech in finance, including Wipro, TCS, Accenture and cognizant are known to recruit from presidency College of and provide training sessions which include skill development in areas like aptitude, technical knowledge, coding and soft skills which can make a big difference in interviews. While average package from this college would be around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. BCA students can expect to securing higher offers based on skills or specialisation, stating rules me include position such as junior developer, technical analyst, quality assurance

The students from the 5th semester are eligible for the campus placements. The companies that visit the campus are not so well known and mostly offer 4lpa package. The highest package offered by the companies in this college is 4lpa and the minimum is 2lpa. There is around 60% placement rate of the high scoring students Im planning to do the masters too after this degree.
