Course Curriculum Overview :
Cs - IOT with cybersecurity and blockchain is a great course that has been introduced to keep students in touch with the changes in the field of computer science engineering. Exams are held thrice a semester to test students on their level of grasping of the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
There are several internships offered by the college which are paid. Students can get internships in companies like microsoft, cisco, bosch etc which will enhance their resume. The college is very supportive in providing internship opportunities to students. The college also allows students to take leaves when necessary and keep a track of the students record during internships.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to participate in placement rounds from the 6th semister onwards. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment some of which include Google, Dell, Fidelity and GE Aerospace. The highest package offered last year during placement was 56 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is 76%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee for my course that is CS - IOT with cybersecurity (blockchain) is 104700 ( tuition fee, caution fee, lab fees included and excluding hostel fee). The fee for the whole duration of th course that is 4 years would sum up to be 4,18,800 rupees. The fee may vary depending upon the admission mode. The least being through KCET.
Campus Life :
The college organises one fest a year called Manthan. The fest is usually held in the month of November- December. However there are plenty of clubs the students can join which also hold programs all year round to keep the students engaged and interested. The college has a massive library with a vast collection of books required to complete your entire course.
Admission :
I applied for dayanand sagar but I couldn't get in as the cutoff was slightly higher. I felt the next best choice would be to apply to Bangalore Institute of Technology as it is a well reputed college with good placements. I got into BIT through KCET exam in the second round of councelling.
Faculty :
There are a good number of faculty for teaching who are highly qualified to teach the respective subject. The student to faculty ratio is also pretty good. I dont have complaints regarding any of the faculty members as all of them are great lecturers. It is not very hard to score well in the exams if you pay attention in class and do what is needed
