Course Curriculum Overview :
The internals are usually quite easy to prepare for with the help of the materials provided by the teachers. The syllabus is assigned by vtu and thus covers technical subjects as well as subjects like nss which help is social enrichment. Externals are set by vtu so it is required to study thoroughly.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th sem. Many companies visit including Dell, Fidelity, Eurofins, GE Aerospace etc. A few students have bagged jobs from companies like Google (56 LPA) , Amazon (54 LPA) and PhonePe
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm paying 2,92,562 per year as a student who lives in karnataka but has joined from COMEDK. Other COMEDK students pay 2,94,562 per year while KCET students have to pay around 28,000. Apart from this you also have to pay exam fees (1682) per semester.
Campus Life :
Only one fest (Manthan) is organised by the college. Manthan takes place once a year around November-December. However, the clubs are very active and frequently conduct events that everyone in college can take part in. There are several libraries in the college and they house a vast collection of books, enough that you don't need to buy any textbooks to finish your course.
Admission :
I applied, and got accepted to CMRIT, VIT and NITTE MEENAKSHI. I chose BIT primarily for its high placements. I got in through COMEDK in which my rank was around 5300. I also applied to Dayanand Sagar but I was unable to get in.
Faculty :
Computer science has a pretty sizeable faculty and they are all very easy to approach. Every student is assigned a proctor to help guide them throughout their course. Teachers usually have a good understanding over the course material and are able to help clear most doubts. Two internals and One external is conducted per semester.
