Likes
- I like the library most as it contains lots and lots of books, having two areas of study, one is for the reading section which we can self study and other is for competitive exams in which we can prepare for any of the competitive exams.
- The other this is greenery all over the university and a diverse rich fauna and flora.
Dislikes
- The washroom are not great but it was ok.
- The infrastructure is nice but their is not best canteen and not varieties of canteen there like in other private colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The cirriculum is good as I am preparing for GATE and CSIR NET, the subject of this is accordingly but sometimes it will changed not matched the syllabus of this but it is ok we have competitive section in the library we can go their and study.
Placement Experience :
The 3 and 4 year of students are eligible and the companies here visits are Amazon and all. In previous year the companies give the highest placement of 12 LPA approx and average of 5-6 LPA. the 10% approx get the placement. I planned after getting the degree is of giving GATE and CSIR NET for enrolling myself to the phd scholar.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester wise my fees is 17200 and in year I pay 34400 but I also got scholarship from CM higher education scholarships of 1500 per month having the yearly amount of 18000 based on my rank I came 3 rd based on my 12 th marks but as in 1 st year I came 1 st in my class so this year I will get 3000 per month that is of 36000 yearly.
Campus Life :
The festivals here is Holi, Diwali, Navratri and all. 77 scholarly journals and mazagines of 45 journals and 32 mazagines. The smart board and projector is there. The sports like batminton, football, cricket and others sports were there for both male and female. The clubs like art and painting, debate, drama, chess, science were there.
Admission :
The others colleges are private I applied it if I wouldn't get admission in Doon University. I choose Doon University apart from any colleges in Dehradun because it is a state university and government university under the state government or governor. The admission process is by Doon University entrance exams which made in June and the cut off are on average 50-60 marks out of 100.
Faculty :
For all the semesters we have same faculties not the one which are in private colleges in which the every semesters faculties are changing. The Biomolecule faculty I like the most, she recently joined and not like other teaching in ppt she made effort and teach in board while writing. The other I don't like because of several reasons like not teaching in detail or I will not able to listen them because they are so slow to be hear. The exams occur in every semester is 2, one is mid and other is end term, the assignment practical's presentation and viva are also occur. They are typically hard like the somewhat level of competitive and the checking where also strict. As due to internals no one fails but yes they got less cgpa.
