Faculty in the college is good and very helpful nature.
Sports complex is very big and sports facilities are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Many courses are available here but BA course is best i think. You can pursue any government or private job with thi this course. So, I think this is the best course. Mostly students in college are doing this course only.

Class Size : 140Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is affordable like 20000/- year and 3000 exam fees. So, it is very affordable and best. College campus is also very big. Specially for the sports students. Nice library and reading room. Have many clubs like vada,anti corruption.

Campus Life :

Till now my college life was good. But still many things are yet to come. new experiences festivals, social programs,concerts, events. students here are of very friendly nature. very greenery here,plants and trees everywhere and also there is rainwater harvesting.

Admission :

I havr selected this college because of its reputation in chandigarh. It is one of oldest colleges in chandigarh. I kept my first priority to this college for the admission and i got admission here. It is very difficult to get admission here in this college.

Faculty :

Faculty members of college are great especially the teachers of political Science department and punjabi department. Exams here are based on Punjab University pattern. Exams are conducted two times a year and MSTs are also conducted here.

Interview Experience :

no there is no written test or interview for admission here. Adimission here is completely based on merit. you will be granted admission here on your 12th marks. you will need a good score for securing admission here. if you have studied form any chandigarh schol you will be given a special UT POOL quota for the admission.

Reality of dav college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of arts is a good course which can be done easily and it is good to do this course if u want to go in civil services I chose it do perform well in upsc cause it covers the syllabus of upsc There are some faculty who are rude and i dont like them and also dont understand their way of teaching Exams timing are good and anyone can enjoy and study during this course you will not be in huge pressure ! And i liked it thats why this course is must fir upsc and other civil services aspirants It will cover their syllabus and u will get to know more about subjects more effectively

The major reason for choosing the course is that I want to prepare for civil services and most of the syllabus of that is covered in B.A and I also thinks that I will be able to inderstand the functioning of our finance ministry and other institutions.
