  • There’s too much walking as it’s a huge university

Course Curriculum Overview :

The couses are up to date according to the recent changes that happened in the judiciary. We have Legal eagle where students made aware of recent land mark cases and moot courts are done to help study with their legal knowledge.

Internships Opportunities :

We have an internship cell which helps us with internships. Students are helped with internships during the summer internships and sometimes accommodation is also taken care of for the students. College encourages students to do running internships(for 4th and 5th years)

Placement Experience :

Placements at PES university are strong, with good ties with top tier law firms and companies. The placement cell conducts tests and training sessions for students to make help them with future interviews

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

PES university, Bangalore offers a well rounded BALLB course that blends legal education with humanities and social sciences, preparing their students for their future legal endeavours. The university is known for it's modern infrastructure and experienced faculties and emphasis on interdisciplinary learning. With a strong focus on practical skills, moot courts and internships, PES ensures that students are well prepared for the legal profession. The fee for BALLB is 2 lakhs per annum

Campus Life :

The university is great with co-curricula activities. We has yearly fest, AATMATRISHA. And many other small fests. Students are encouraged to set up shops and conducts many competitions and programs. There are a lot of guest lectures too

Admission :

I chose PES university for its strong academic reputation, modern infrastructure on focus on practical legal training. Compared to others it offers better industry connection and faculty. The admission process involves an entrance exam and CLAT scores are also accepted.

Faculty :

The faculty members are well experienced and great with students. We have 3 exams every semester , 2 ISA and an ESA. There are assignments throughout the semester and every subject has a research paper submission.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good. Because, top companies do come and select the students provided that they have to maintain a miminum CGPA and after the interviews they are selected. In the law, the average package ranges from 3 Lakhs and the maximum goes beyond 13 Lakhs. In the third year, the students are required to elect their baskets. The students who have chosen corporate law basket get placed more. Other baskets are also good and the placements are better for them as well. But, the opportunities in the corporate field are more.

There is a placement cell for every single department of the university, where faculties work on the campus placement of students in various fields, As law is a professional course, there are many types of placements such as recruitments from corporate law firms , legal advising. There are many other options like Judiciary exams, Other state and central service examinations available for students.

Placement Experience:

Placement for Law are not that willed as other branches of the university but placements exists. However, litigation is promoted here so most students who pass out from here go for litigation. My plans are same too as my maternal uncle is a lawyer and he has promised to support me in and out for that.

Placement Experience:

We do have the placements for both Autonomous and law department including post graduation. We have a list of companies and firms names and according to that whichever we want to apply for we apply and we have interviews and all in those firms and according to that we get the placements. The percentage of the students for placements should be 60% and above. The average package of the company and profile offered is 3 lakhs and above. My plan after getting a degree is I want to work in corporate firms as it is my ambition.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell but it doesn't work well. Few associates and law firms have came to the college till now but couldn't provide a good amount of packages. The students generally prefer off campus placement or independent practice after completing the course. After 4th year which is 7th semester the students apply for placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 8 semester, students are eligible for placements. Companies like trilegal, khaitan and co made few offers and students got placed. Highest package was about 12 lacs and avg would be around 7. 50% students get their placement. I am quite inclined towards the corporate sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much into these crimes and investigation from before and also as my dad is also a lawyer i had a touch to this course since my childhood and i took up this course. The thing you study in books is very different until you experience the same. Its very imporatnt to have experience in this course. This college is very much into the books and not practical real world. I guess that should be improved in this college. There will be 2 exams for a academic year. The difficulty will be moderate and depends on university.
