In our college teachers are very supportive.
We get marks easily in semester examinations if studied decently.

We get very short notice about everything, like for holidays and exams.
Separate building for Engineering department should be there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the first year of college majorly we study the extended version of things we studied in class 11 and 12. So there we did not found anything new in our 1st year of study. From 2nd year of btech our main subjects started which is really fun to study.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is the area that needs to be worked by the administration. Although it is not that bad also, people who study gets placed in top companies and get 12 LPA, 15 LPA, 20 LPA according to their potential. It is said that the average package of the college is 5LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Course Fee per semester is ?100000 for Computer Science. But per semester Fee for CS (AI) is ?115000 and for ECE is ?80000. It means for CS fees for 1 year is 2L, fees for CS(AI) is 2.3L and fees for ECE is 1.6L! The admission fees needs to be paid once at time of admission which is ?5000. Some more charges around 10k needs to be paid once at the time of admission. There are many scholarships also available, for details you may refer college website.

Campus Life :

We have so many fests in college of different departments. We are soon going to have a fest Nerdz in which DJ Night will happen and food stalls would be there. We can issue books from library after having a library card from library itself. There are Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball grounds available which is awesome. There are many clubs in college which we can join and improve our various skills.

Hostel Facilities :

We have double bedded AC & and Non-AC rooms. We also have dormitory which is Non-AC. We have 2 boys hostel and 5 girls hostel in our campus. The mess and laundry facility is also there available which is very good.

Hostel Fee : INR 160000 per year

Admission :

Jamia Hamdard University is a deemed to be university or we may say semi-government university/ government funded university. So it is obviously better than private institutions and being in Delhi it makes it more advantageous than some of government universities also. Being in Delhi it provides more exposure.

Faculty :

For computer Science we have four sections. Two teachers are allotted generally for one subject for four sections, it means one teacher for two sections and in a section generally there are 60 students. So we may say 1 teacher teaches 120 students but 60 at a time, separately teaching of eaching section. For exams, we have 2 sessionals and 1 end-sem exam in a semester.

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
