Remarks

The college should develop hostel facilities outside the college premises. It should also start internship courses so the student can learn something other than studies. Moreover, the college organizes fests for the students to enjoy

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As colleges and universities become increasingly focused on student services in order to attract and retain students, it’s never been more important to gauge how students feel about some of the larger, innovative—and often tech-based—initiatives leadership spends copious amounts of time and money supporting on campus.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college doesn't provide internship but I think the college should provide some facility for it as it is important for a student to develop his own personality and skills in the long run. I will talk about this in my society

Placement Experience

4

There are enough opportunities for placements in our campus. Every year a majority of students is hired from the college itself. Many reputed companies come every year and take the interview and do campus placements

College Events

5

Our college celebrates its annual day on which an annual fest is organized. It's a compulsory event plus our college regular organizes small functions to gain the interest of the students. Our society is preparing for the event to be organized next week

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible for the students. I am paying 12900 for 1 year to the college which is comparatively very low to the other universities. Our infrastructure is also very good and the building is new otherwise other colleges of the university are charging 8000 approx for the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee concession is provided to the reserved categories also their admission is quite easy because the cutoff for admission is comparatively low for them. I haven't availed for any scholarship facility till now.

Campus Life

4

Some studies support that extracurricular activities can negatively impact student performance. Other studies emphasize the positive effect of student engagement in activities out of the classroom. However, they point that not all activities are beneficial to academic growth, and the benefits of student engagement vary across activities

Hostel Facilities

5

There are no hostel facilities in our college. It is a minus point as a student who is coming all the way long has to stay in a rented house which is very costly for them. There is a reason because our campus is good but small for a hostel facility

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. They helped me very much at the time of admission. Also, societies are led by our seniors only. They perform various function and seminars for the juniors for our well being and improved knowledge.

Exam Structure

We have two semesters in one year. So there is a total of 6 semesters in 3 years. The paper consists of 100 marks of which 75 marks we have to give a written paper and 25 marks is for internal which is taken by the teacher a month before our final exam in every semester

Admission

Firstly I filled an entrance form on the Delhi University website. There we have to choose between entrance based courses and merit-based courses and pay the fees then. Then university release cutoff for the merit-based courses and whosoever student clear the criteria can go and apply in the college.

Faculty

5

The best thing about Dyal Singh college is the sense of community created by the campus. Students, faculty, staff, and alums all share a common thread that enhances a feeling of belonging for people who want to be a part, despite a wide array of differences among Wabash's constituents. Men intermingle regardless of fraternal allegiance, or lack thereof, race, belief, or hometown.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
