Canteen of the college is very hygiene and good service with variety of options
Library has good facilities reading area to bunch of books available which are trendy
Professor are super friendly only few professors are bit strict

So i choose art and culture: music and its in vocal form. Also their are other options too.. like NCC, NSS, DLLE , green club , yoga. Find your interest and participate. Other than that you can also join other clubs according to your interest.

Campus Life

Their is several festivals celebrated and also so many programmes functions are done well known kshitij as known to all but their is attendance issues 75% should be must.. And other things are good here no issues

Admission

This college is very well known in Mumbai Maharashtra as well as other states too.. and the chance to get admission is very low if you get 80 below percentage and if you are outstation student you need to score high . I got good percentage: 92% so i got selected in every college but i choose this college as it is good one according to me.

Faculty

Faculties are very good and friendly too but students needs to follow certain rules like: not to eat or drink beverages during lectures not to talk also don't use smartphones or any other device and disrespect them and pay attention. Per semester their is exam and it is a little difficult but if prepared well you may find easy mostly students don't fail if do best in studies and co-curriculum course are good.

The Life of A SCMC Student

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from Semester 6. There are numerous companies like Zomato, The Quint, Hindu etc that visit the campus and whose offers are made for the students. The highest package offered has been INR 7 lacs per annum and the Average package is INR 3.60 Lacs per annum. The campus placements has been 85% based on the number of students that opted for it. My plans after getting my degree is to go ahead for my masters in either creative writing or marketing and then start working on a job but this may change.

I wanted to join this course from a long time as I was very interested in the same.The faculty is great and students ratio is also quite good but teachers try to focus n give time to each students.Teachers are also amazing they give there 100 percent to the students..They also have doubt lecture before every exams and also conduct phycological evaluation for every student before the exam so that the students doesn't have any kind of pressure..Term exams are conducted 2(twice) a year, if the student is studying well you can pass the exam very easily.

Placement Experience:

After the last semester of course students will have right to take placement by the college according to here marks and percentage. There are 10+ plus offered to join the new company for the students. The highest package is 50000 and the lowest is 20000 as per the courses and marks. I think after the my degree is completely I will take other degree course for get more educated in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen BA arts as my curriculum cause I have had an intrest in Psychology and I am thinking of pursuing a further career in it. Our stream is having around 15-20 faculty members and each class strength is around 120 and there are 4 divisions. Almost all of the faculty members are having phd degree and everyone is having a unique teaching method and very likely we enjoy the lectures of all the faculty members. The teaching is really good. For this year that is for FY, I was having 2 online exams one for each term and it was MCQ type questions and answers. The exams level difficulty is moderate.

Reality behind big name

Remarks:

My college has a lot so it can be best not only in our city or state but also in a country. But we are lacking planning which has clarity and implementation of the same. We need to be more optimistic and our college has to build some basic infrastructure and facilities where they are lacking and guidance support for every stream of students so we can do better in future and obviously at present which requires teamwork but before that leader should be there who can take all people's accountability and start this thing.
