- I like that college organises a lot of events and functions and supports these activities
Dislikes
- Management of my course that is not actually taken a good care of
- Less strictness that is not seen in many of the college's.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Good and nice actually as they not only focus on studies but also other activities such as sports and event and functions that provides confidence in kids They also give assignments and ppts in order to let students interact
Internships Opportunities :
Internships we get is offered when we pay fees for it, they all are paid internship so that's why a certain amount is required. The amount that we need to pay to company/college is just 3-4 k while after internship payment is better
Placement Experience :
To be honest, after covid, the placement in my department is a little shaken but we really hope that it will be better soon as big and named companies now are ready to offer internship, we hope they will offer recruitment soon
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our fees tend to increase every year. As, my 1st and 2nd sem fee was 65k (I also got an scholarship due to my 12th board results) then it increased to 70K the next year. The registration fee is 25k including all the necessary changes (hostel fee is charged individually) Also, as I told I got an scholarship.. I'll tell you more about it. My 12th board percentage was 82% therefore I got a scholarship of 20% and a bonus points was 'no test' for admission, this offer is valid only when a student has scored more than 80% in their 12th boards, secondly, the 20% scholarship is calculated only on academics that means the tution fees, not the total fees that has been charged, most of the schools and colleges follow the same protocol. Overall, facilities and teachers are supportive but in my case, the management of our course doesn't seem to pay more attention on students need. Other courses are given a good care.
Campus Life :
Overall, I had lots of fun and studies and participation too.. it was actually a very good experience for me and specially for my self confidence. It has increased my confidence a lot and even my speaking and communication skills
Admission :
I chose this college after searching and researching a lot about other colleges. This college is one of the best college in west bengal. Actually, when I was looking for a good college for my course, it was rated 5/5
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio in my department is 13:75 Faculties are really helpful and ready to help whenever needed.. they're very cooperative and supportive of students needs and requirements. They often offer PDFs and documents, even books pdf despite providing us with class notes, they all are very good at teaching and behaviour also. Specifically, Ajanta ma'am, one of our best teaching faculty is really good with her notes and class interaction. They're few teachers that I don't like due to behaviour but they teach well, so it doesn't matter much. We have 6 exams in an year that is 3 exams per sem out of which one is main exam of 60-70, one is internal of 20-30 marks and one is viva of 10-20 marks depending upon subject
