- There is an aura of studying. Majority of the students are nerds and focus on their examinations as well as their curricular activities.
- The professors are strict so this helps in studying🤫

- The compulsion of 75% attendance is very bothersome as it doesn't let's you explore much
- The teachers focus only on the theory of subjects and how to gain marks in external rather than going for an application approach
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is not good. There's no application and only theory. They don't prefer foreign authors or any great Indian authors for engineering. They focus only on how to score maximum in externals. The curriculum is very short-sighted as it focuses majorly on completion and not on understanding of the subject. In first year they only teach u one programming language that also not very well which is C. Although they have started a course for students parallely for internship and job opportunities, they could if just improve the quality of authors they teach front could help a lot. The st1 and st2 is of 1hr 15 mins and st3 is of 1hr30mins. St1 and 2 comprises of 1.5 units out of 5 each and st3 comprises of 2 units. The exams aren't much difficult to pass but they are more notes and external examination oriented
Placement Experience :
From 7th sem onwards student get eligible for campus placements. The company that generally visits the campus are infosys, TCS, Wipro, Nvidia, Mahindra, Accenture, I uneecops and many more The highest which was offered was 50 lakhs per annum to a CSE Student. And the average package lies between 3-5lpa Generally 85-90% students get placed in college. My plan is to get a good job before my degree is handed to me.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first year students the fees is 1,33,600rs whereas for rest other year (second/third/) the fees is 1,28,600rs. The tuition fees is 1,10,000rs with the academic and book bank security fees is 5k. The registration fees of the college is 1500rs and they charge 15k for career planning, an amount of 1600rs for book bank maintenance and 500rs for medical insurance. This all was for first year students. For the second and third year fees is reduced by 5k. They even charge you 7.5k for university examination fees for both the semester each year. In fourth year the fees again rises upto 1,30,100rs. For each student the fees remains same. But the difference arises for scholarships based on category. So students of SC/ST/OBC get a scholarship of 50k directly in their submitted bank accounts. The hostel fees is somewhere around 93k for every year.
Campus Life :
Campus life isn't that boring, the seniors keep on doing some curricular activities within every 2 weeks. They generally name it differently but all these dance and singing with coding competition keeps on happening. Fest happens once a year say in November and it's only of two days with separating girls and boys. Sports fest that happened in college was really awesome. Around 20 bullets made a grant entry in the ground it was wholesome. Various clubs of every type is available from social serving to dancing rapping singing drama fashion code and what not.
Admission :
I did my counseling under aktu and took whatever college was assigned to me. I took admission in a abes. Because of not getting college anywhere else as my parents didn't wanted me to to move out of town. Jee journey wasn't that great which lead to selection in this college. You can admission here by two means- direct or by counselling. In direct admission it is based entirely on your boards percentage and counselling on your jee percentile. For CS branches you must score above 90% and 85 percentile. And the list goes on similarly.
Faculty :
Okay so the faculty of ABES is pretty well. Our hod is Amit Sinha, he came to visit us on our first day of college when and also gave his personal number to students in case of some kind of emergency. Our PL(program leader) is Mrs. Mansi Aggarwal, she is a very soft spoken lady and also tries her best to save students of our batch from suspension and also clears chaos that happens in classrooms. She is quite good in teaching pps. I studied mechanics from Mr. Chetan Rajan Sir and he did a very good job in teaching us that subject. For maths Nimisha mam is good , she also made us solve gate problems in our class. For physics Amita Tripathi, she provided good notes and also good teacher for motivational purposes. Other faculties focused majorly on marks and attendance and also were not so good in their subjects. There are 4 exams; 3 ST's out of which best two are taken for your internals and external examination. St1 and St2 are of 30 marks each(1.5unit in each) and st3 is of 40 marks.
