- Fests and the events they conduct ,encourage sports and management as well.
Dislikes
- Food is not that much good especially for the people who comes from south
- Ragging is conducted more but nowadays it is getting down
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm pushing electrical engineering .according to me it is good course here i actually got this course in the order I kept in josaa counselling.Here in this department course instructor are good and well trained but in the class room who are sitting at back are unable to focus on the class so they getting less grades so up to mid exam one sitting order after mid other sitting order will be kept
Placement Experience :
For campus internship you are eligible from 5th semester and for the campus placement you will be eligible from 7th semester.nearly 200 companies visit our campus for placement opportunities. highest package is 50lpa and average package is 15lpa. 85 Percent students are getting placed here .if I got placement with good package I will take opportunity otherwise I plan to do ms in foreign universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Dee structure of IIT ISM DHANBAD will be like Tution fee is 0 for those who have category SC,ST. And for the people whose family income is less than 100000 they have to pay 0 for tution fee. And for GEN ,OBC people have to pay 100000 as tution fee .for people whose family income is below 5 lakhs and above 1 lakh have to pay 33000 as tution fee. Next the hostel fee has to pay equally which is an average of 35,000 per year
Campus Life :
Student life is very beautiful here .There are three fests every year namely srijan , biggest social cultural fest .concetto , technical fest and parakram , the biggest sports fest. Apart from these a fest named khannan ,geo mining fest will be conducted. And lot of opportunities for the students in lot of clubs available here in every field in cultural,in technical,and in sports also. in our college we have the library with no 1 collection of books
Hostel Facilities :
In every hostel room they provide two fans two lights two cupboards ,two study tables, two beds if it is a two students living . similarly one each for single rooms . Hostel rooms are near and good .food quality is not that much good according to me . especially for the people coming from south can't take at starting.hostel registration process is different every year they will provide the guidelines to the students accordingly.no need to go and stay outside every one will be provided hostel.and also not a safe locality.
Admission :
For the admission in the college you have to clear the worlds thougest JEE ADVANCED examination.if you clear the exam and secured a good rank you can now apply for JOSAA counselling for different IITs based on your course of interest. Later according to your rank you will be allotted a course in the colleges.
Faculty :
For every semester at the starting of the classes lecture plan will be given and then will be taught accordingly, different subjects have different number of credits which decides our grades.faculty to student ratio is 1:4 for the department I'm saying.and exams pattern will be as much as possible 2 quizes for 20 marks and mid exam for 32 marks.and end exam for 48 marks .and the evaluation is based on the professors.i didn't like some professor who are partial in giving marks.
