Course Curriculum Overview :

Hybrid lab and experienced faculties. Industry revelent education is providing here. Professors should use white or green board most of time. Mid sem after 2 months of course statrt date and end sem after 4 months , which is okay.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 900000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

One lakh fees/year Tuition fees-62500, caution fee - 10000, registration fee - 2000, development fee - 5000, lab fee - 2000, mess fee - 30000 Poor people will get fee waiver A lot of scholarships like nsp, alstom, vidyasarathi,buddy for study are available also sbi loan.

Campus Life :

Cosmo ( cultural fest) in sptember, vriddhi ( sports fest in janyuary ) , innovision (tech fest) in februry). All the books and journals are available of all departments in central library, anyone can access. Smart board, latest fans,bulbs,ac,benches, are available. Swimming championship in august, vriddhi in january, inter nit in february. Yogviya club for yoga, aps club for coding, pantomine for acting and many more...

Hostel Facilities :

Bed, tubelight, fan, almirah, charging station,hanger, and curtain. Meal quality get degraded over the time. Need seat allotment letter of josaa or csab and caretaker will provide hostel. Costs 20k/year.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

It has a clean and lushgreen campus spreaded over 1200 acres. Because its ranking is 3rd among nits, and its closer to my location . Candidates must have to qualify jee mains, then appear in josaa and csab counselling then after physical reporting happens at college

Faculty :

40:1, most of time relationship between faculty and student is good. I like prof k. Umamaheswar rao ( director) because of his good leadership quality. I like every faculty who taught me. There are 2 exams per semester and those are easy to moderate.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
