Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose agriculture, they made us plant trees and crops in the field, and we worked all together in the field as one taking care of it as our own. By this approach, we understood how hard work farmers are going through.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 186000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I was offered an internship from ITC, did that for like 9 months later joined in another company. Placement starts in the 3rd year, I suggest people start building up their skills a lot earlier which makes them a high priority to get selected.

Placement Experience :

LPU has a wide range of companies that visit for campus placements, including major tech firms, multinational corporations, and startups. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, and Microsoft have recruited from LPU in the past. One must have a good set of skills to crack a jackpot.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My yearly fee was 186000 but I got a scholarship of 35% as I got more than 90% in my intermediate. There won't be any extra fees except for exam fees that is approx 3000 per semester. One can avail scholarship based on lpu nest exam or intermediate marks.

Campus Life :

Campus life typically offers a vast social scene. You'll likely meet a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, which can be enriching. Events, festivals, and social gatherings are common, providing plenty of opportunities to make friends and build networks.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 2, 3,4 sharing with AC/ non-AC and there is a dormitory room, I would suggest 4 sharing is better than anything. They give a wide set of menu, the quality is okay. Many people rent a pg outside the campus too but daily commuting to clg is a bit hectic.

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

The Admission process was so simple, just go to the website choose which course you are interested in, there are a lot of courses, and then just apply for it. Everything will be taken care of by the division of administration

Faculty :

There are 1:15 faculty-to-student ratio, every student is allotted to a mentor and most of the things related to the students are taken care by the mentor. There is an easy way to locate any faculty, each faculty were given different rooms and seat plan, which eases the process.

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
