- No facilities of hospitals or emergency situations
- Food are the worst part in hostel, but some days it’s good
Course Curriculum Overview :
According to me if you aren't into any IIT u don't get into any recent technology as we have always studied on only book concepts, just mugup and understanding old books knowledge if u think u r going to learn this and that do it yourself no subjects or teachers teach you current technologies, yes if u are a CS student maybe the situation will be different for you, CS faculties are really good.
Placement Experience :
Recently due to recessions and market downturn the IT/CS jobs are really low, just don't expect that u can get easily IT/CS jobs, the same situation is everywhere but placement teams really do hardwork to reach more and more companies and yes if you are good at your branch subjects or you are a non-IT then there were good opportunities for you in this college, really good industrial companies are approaching and most students are getting placements in core companies like ADANI, TATA POWER etc etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Im a branch change student so for branch change student the fees should be taken as per previous branch fees only, so I previously joined in civil engineering where the fees is 29,500/yr + 1500/ 6 months admission fees. Then i changed to Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering where the branch fees I don't have proper idea but fees was in range of 70,000-80,000/yr + 1800/ 6 months. About scholarships our clg don't provide scholarships i have taken government scholarships u can also apply for it according to your eligibility criteria.
Campus Life :
As per google this college is coming under indias top 10 Tech fest, you will sure really enjoy the technical fests and all, it will be a memorable experience for your life i can bet on it, This college is famous in Odisha for it's tech events and fest. Each and every book u need are available in library, it's best library you can find everything don't worry. Sports Events are also conducted regularly and they also keep focused on your health and fitness. Yes a lot of social groups are there different clubs are present, student portals are there which will help students in every way.
Admission :
You have to attempt for JEE mains Exam or OJEE Exams to get a seat for yourself in this college, at my time you have to score high ranks to get admission in this college but recent I guess the cutoffs are medium low now, but according to your ranks you get into different streams/branch, yes there were quotas also according to government rules. Exams are quite well the questions are medium level not too high standards and exams are really strict here, and yes they show you your papers after exams, so don't worry u can increase your marks in requests.
Faculty :
As it was a government college so u can expect good teachers here, they always help you in studies, some senior teachers are there it's not like they are not knowledgeable or whatever they just give you personal doubt clearances and all, on that subject you have to do it youself and rest some are there who are temporary teachers some of them are good,
