Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of MAKAUT is well structured with easy understanding. The books which I got from 'CENTRAL LIBRARY' is very useful. It is very easy to comprehend as many real life examples are written. And it's helpful in further placement.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college depends upon the effort of the students. However, the average placement which college can give is Rs 500000 per annum. But, if we want to increase our package, we have to go to further studies like MBA or M.Tech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The name of my college is Dr. B.C.Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. The year wise fees is Rs 270000, registration fees is Rs 10000, Admission fees Rs 10000 and development fees is Rs 15000 and quota is there.

Campus Life :

Our college is excellent in organising fests, events, cultural activities. Whenever special occasions are near such as Independence Day or Republic Day, our seniors put in a lot of efforts to collect funds in order to decorate hostels with balloons and have a party at night. The books provided by the college is comprehensible and easy to understand.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is average, not so good as I expected. The room is very short as compared to 4 people. The meal quality is very bad and sometimes look unhygienic. The registration process was included in the college admission itself whether you need allot a hostel or not. I haven't rented any room or PG till now.

Admission :

The admission process was very slow and lengthy. First, we have to give WBJEE and rank good. Unfortunately, my rank wasn't that good. So I have to take admission in this private college. First WBJEE rank comes in the official website, then counseling date comes where we need to select our desired branch and college. Then a date is decided when we visit our college and take admission. In short many documents are required such as CBSE class 10, CBSE class 12, Domicile, Birth Certificate, etc.

Faculty :

The faculty members are not that good as I expected. There are sub standard faculties in my college who are not much qualified. The faculty to student ratio is not maintained. For one faculty, there are more students. And also there are faculties but only few of them teach properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
