Remarks :
Since our college is situated in Kashmir as we know there is highly sensitive areas so lots of holidays occurred during to shutdown of Kashmir.
Entrance Preview :
I want to do my b.tech in electrical engineering at the time of councilling I chose 24th choice as NIT Srinagar. Although my college is far away from my hometown when I reach the college I saw there location and after some classes I feel everything normal now I am in Fourth years.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is providing every type of course like b.tech in electrical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, information technology, computer science, electronic and communication engineering.also provide Master of technology courses , PhD courses etc.
Internships Opportunities :
In every engineering branch a subject name tour and technical visit. So INSITUTE provide to every student to visit a technical place like industry or power grid etc.also arrange traning program in the holidays.
Placement Experience :
Since our college is national level college it's reputation is very high . Job opportunity for every engineering branch have much. Every year different mncs come to our college for placement like lnt ,bedanta, godrage,grayB,etc . Many of coaching centers directly chose student for there facility like resonance,awanti learning center etc.
College Events :
On the starting of the semester, organized a fresher party for first year students.after running four to five weeks a inter semester sports program were organized where all semester student can take a part. Every years organized a technical meet program where students come there innovative ideas and inventions.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Since our college is a national level college controlled by MHRD DELHI.so fee structure is directly control by government. For my year general and obc candidate 39750rupee tuition fee.and for sc/St candidate 4750 rupees per semester.and 15000/ rupees for every student every semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every year for sc/St student which have higher rank in jee exam who are in this college are provided scholarship. National scholarship and state scholarship also is providing.
Campus Life :
In our college come student from different states of India. All the have lived together happily since our college is situated in Kashmir so girls from other come is less as compared to boys. All engineering branch have there own budding there have own practice place and labs, Hi-Tech rooms.student also go for robotics competition with scholarship.
Hostel Facilities :
From first year to Fourth years every student provided hostel faculty all the years student have there own different block of hostel.sinc the student have a sharing room. Every room to have provided for every student a bed, a locar, a table, a chair all rooms proper finishing, lighting.
Alumni/Alumna :
In college the senior is you like a guardian. attraction with senior is always helpfull for our studies and extra curricular activity.
Exam Structure :
In b.tech there is eight semester. In each semester there is two exams name midterm and major exam. In midterm exams there is three questions all are compulsory and time allotted for one and half hours. In major exam there is five questions ,four questions which we have to do. In m.tech have four semester which follow as b.tech.
Admission :
After completing my twelve,my aim is clear that I have to go in engineering field.one of my senior who already doing engineering he gives me some tips then I drop my one year for practicing for jee main exam and finally I appear in jee exam. I am scored 124 marks in jee exam, at that time josa was conducted the sheet allocation process.
Faculty :
Our college has a very talented group of teaching staff.they are very student friendly. they are very attentive in class they come in class regularly, give proper lecture. there teaching method is very attentive, they give regular homework which will discuss in the next class.
