  • Large class sizes and imperssonal lectures even after charging high tuition fees and expenses
  • Unhelpful and unresponsive faculty members with lack of communication skills and knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview :

Specific aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course were the emphasis on practical skills and project-based learning and also the inclusion of soft skills such as communication and teamwork. The circular prepares students well for entry-level positions in the industry. Also, the focus on practical skills and projects helps build a strong portfolio. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method could be Incorporated with more advanced and specialized topics.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities available with my college are many such as Amul, etc. They even provide internships out of the city, and the roles offered by them are HR, sales, marketing, etc. And the stipend provided by them is decent.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are available for the third year students, that means for the students who are currently in the sixth semester. The company's visited are many , for example "Desure". The highest package that a girl recently got was rupees , twenty three lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is below forty percent. My plans after getting the degree is to crack CAT and go with my masters in business administration.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Every year the tuition fees increase with a ten percent hike which is a huge amount for many middle-class and lower-class families. The total cost of my education, including the tuition fees, service, and other compulsory charges is more than 1 lakh a year. Seventy thousand is the total amount I pay for my one-year tuition fees which includes thirty-five thousand per semester. The transportation fee that I pay is 18000 per year. I pay 9000 per semester as my transportation fees. Along with that, there are many miscellaneous charges such as the admission form fees and other event charges, which we need to pay often. There are barely any scholarships or financial aid which are available for the students.

Campus Life :

Our college hosts several events such as Aarambh, Yuva, etc. For example, Aarambh is being held in the month of July itself. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library are barely usable. The classrooms have been provided with charging points and white boards. Other than that there are no technological facilities provided. There are several sports and extracurricular activities provided by the campus, such as basketball, cricket, football, etc.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course was for the students who just completed with there twelfth in any board. The Application form was available online as well and the people came to our doorstep for their campus. For promotions, the application fee was around 27000 and the application date went till December. The reservation benefits were available only for the SC/ ST people and not for the general class people.

Faculty :

There are in total of 60 students in the class and the college provides one faculty member for each subject in one class, I believe that the faculty have enough knowledge, but they are unable to provide it to the students. Due to various reasons such as firstly, the communication skills of the faculty members. Also, the students are irresponsive and do not pay attention, which makes the faculty members less interested in teaching. We can often interact with the teachers and they are approachable even at off-campus times. They answer our questions and queries efficiently.

Placement Experience:

Students from the 5th and 6th semesters are eligible for placements. There are many offers made from various top recruiting companies in India. Some companies that come for placements are Wipro, TCS and Amazon. The highest package offered was 35 lakhs PA and the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs PA. The average package offered to many students was 6 lakh PA. Almost 85% to 90% of students get placements. I plan to do MBA after getting my BBA degree.

Every year some companies come to our college for the placements and many students get the job but the issue is the amount of package given by the company is very low and jobs are also low. The normal package is 1.8 lakhs to 5 lakhs.
