  • One thing that bothered me was the limited scholarship opportunities.it's great that they offer some scholarships, but it feels like it's not enough. The tuition fees are pretty steep, and it would be amazing if they could offer more financial aid
  • the campus is beautiful, but sometimes it feels like something's missing.I wished there were more events, more activities, and more ways for students to get involved and engaged.

Course Curriculum Overview :

what really drew me to this course was the way it balanced theoretical foundations with practical applications. I loved how the curriculum wasn't just about focusing concepts, but about actually learning by doing. The emphasis on hands-on projects, case studies, and real-world examples really resonated with me. Its very important to learn theories and concepts and how to apply them in a practical sense that's why Curriculum provides field training and practicals for agriculture students. Some improvement is still important to do in the curriculum which is more and more practical applications with the real world and more interactive teaching sessions , group discussions. The frequency exams is much high because being an agriculture student there are many subjects so it takes time to complete the examinations

Internships Opportunities :

I am currently a 2nd year student i'd not much came across to many internship opportunities but yes i did online internship at indian society of agronomy it is an upaid internship just to gain more knowledge about this field

Placement Experience :

Placements of this College is good not the best it also depends on how a good you are in studies . Students become eligible for Placements from 4th year 7-8th semester. Many companies visit college for placements of students namely Monsanto, amazon , google etc. Highest package is 1 crore and average package is 50 lakhs which given to the students by the companies . Mostly students get placements if they work hard rate is about 50%. According to if i get placement from this College then i would definitely do it , i want to earn or maybe i will give government exams

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution is much higher for agriculture course per semester and if you want to take hostel then it is much expensive . Overall cost per year goes to above 1 lakh and compiling all four years fee it take upto 8 lakhs or above without hostel fee. There is availability of Girls scholarship, Domicile scholarship and other scholarship according to your 12 th percentage and marks . There is not much more financial aid available for students.

Campus Life :

College has many events happening over a year. The main event is the annual fest which is called the YUVA fest happens in april which is huge and amazing celebration. Other fests are the diwali carnival it happens before the diwali vacations , many small events and competitions happen in college and it is very exciting and engaging which makes college life more memorable. College famous because of its infrastructure and includes almost everything. It has a big central library which has number of books and journals of every course and professional lab facilities and internet. The classroom facilities are normal not that much good but teachings is done in projectors. The college also focuses on sports activities and there is annual sports event which happens every year. Many extracurricular activities and events also happen like dancing, singing etc.College has different clubs like NCC , NSS , eco-club , drama club etc and has a great impact in student's life

Admission :

Eligibility if this is 12th pass with above 60% marks in Physics, chemistry, biology or maths. Application form is easily available on the college website or you can visit the college itself for the admissions. Application fee is around 1600 and it is available on website from june-july. There is reservation available for SC-St, OBC candidates not for general category also there is girl candidate reservation for all girls. You can directly get admission to this College or you can give CUET exam it is an medium difficulty exam based only 12th syllabus, scoring good marks in this exam in every subject would get you more scholarship. There should more financial aid for students and fee structure should be affordable.

Faculty :

College has expert faculties and has a great imapct in our learning experience.Teachers are very supportive in academic studies and provide good mentorship to the students. Faculty ensures different methods of teaching students whether it is smart class or field studies so that they would understand the course in a perfect way. Faculty contribution in personality development of the students is very well. I love to interact with my teachers and they really help me in doubt solving.

Other Applied Colleges

Graphic Era Hill University - [GEHU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Agriculture)

This College has very small campus as comapred to uttaranchal University and being an Agriculture student we need big campus with more trees for out study purposes . Akso, fee structure of graphic era is not affordable and it is much expensive

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum prepared ourselves for real world application for the academic perspective. The course was good that's why I choose this. The areas of improvement must be the practical exposure and the Teachers that were less cooperative needs to be more cooperative.

Remarks:

The administration is a bit chaos here as the university is an amalgamation of old and new technologies in the administration. You might find it very difficult to register yourself in the first place. But the good thing is that you rarely have to do things like this in the first place except for the registration and after graduation.
