  • Campus life is not good comparing with other colleges . Very few fests and activities are organised. Clubs and student organisations are very less working and have inner politics.
  • Sports department is very less working and lacks resources .They just wake up once in a year during sports week otherwise facilities for students are not enough.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course (Bpharm) curriculum is well designed. Two sessional exams (30 marks) are conducted and one final end semester exam (75 marks ) is conducted. A extra improvement sessional is allowed to students who miss either of the previous sessional due to genuine reasons. Regular practicals are conducted with proper guidelines.

Placement Experience :

From last year of course student become eligible for campus placements . Companies like TCS , sunpharma , eli lily, mankind , Chegg , Lupin , and some small companies come for placements. Average package is around 3 lakhs pa. Highest would be 8 lakhs for b pharm students. Highest would be 25 lakhs to m pharm students. My plan is to complete my post graduation in MBA and then work in corporate pharmaceutical industry.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Semester Tuition fees for year 2024 in Bpharm: 67500 Examination fee per semester: 5000 Scholarships available are based on merit , need , and minority status. Placement record is below average. Few students get placed and that too with not so good packages such as 3-8 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life :

Campus life is average. Few fests occur in a year. Infrastructure is average. Construction is going on since years. Annual sports and cultural week occur every year in January, which is really good. Clubs are functional and organise regular events . But only few clubs work well . Others are dead. Sports department is there but lacks required space and equipments necessary for whole university. No proper maintained football ground, only one basketball and two badminton court that too is closed in most part of the Days. You can think of other indoor games , they are also just for the sake of name . Also , No Hindu festival is celebrated in campus.

Admission :

The eligibility for admission in B pharm , bpt , nursing and other medical courses is through NEET exam . The application form is available on their official website and is open for more than 2 months. The cutt off is usually nominal , varying with the course and category of student. You can get admission easily if wait till last merit list. I would suggest the University should conduct its own entrance exam

Faculty :

The faculty members are well qualified and very experienced. For example, pharmacy department has all of the faculty which are PhD or post-doc qualified. Even they teach really well and are supporting with students in future and counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of bachelor of pharmacy (B pharm) program at Delhi institute of pharmaceutical science and research (DIPSAR) is generally well structured and has its strength but also has some aspects which need improvement. It offers solid foundation for pharmaceutical sciences, blending the theoretical and practical aspects. I chose dipsar because of its well known reputation, good faculty and their take on real world application on what's taught in class

Remarks:

Overall it is a very good institution in the field of pharmacy, one of the top institutions and a very old name. You go in the professional industry and mention the name of DIPSAR, it's more like a brand name.
