Bharath and his SVCE experience

Dislikes

  • They do not encourage extra curricular activities especially sports

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication is the toughest of all branches you select in engineering the course is so tough that you imagine you wanna change the course in between the subjects are somewhat interesting but most of the subjects are outdated and very boring

Placement Experience :

The one thing about placements in our college is placement is guaranteed for everyone i think at least the minimum placement package you get is 4LPA so you can just focus on the academics while the placement details will be provided by the college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I joined the college through KCET exam and the fees is now ?99000/- and with an extra skill lab fees of ?5000/- so totally it is ?104000/- they inform about scholarships to us mainly about the SSP scholarship which is very easy to apply and get

Campus Life :

There are fests done every month or two just to make the cultural activities special the dance happening is very good but the college is the worst for sports activities no place to even play there's not a single ground too

Admission :

The admission process was very easy and the cutoff changes for various branches for ec department the cutoff for kcet exam was 6 so it was quite easy to get in there they make us roam around simply to take xeroxs and prints and thats the most irritating part of the admission process

Faculty :

Many faculty members are very good in communicating especially the EC department but most of the faculties are high on education but only some faculties look like they are qualified for teaching

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Placement Experience:

In the final year, students can sit for placements. There were many IT companies like Capgemini, Mindtree, EY, EXL, Epsilon, etc. For mechanical only 3 companies they are L&T, Quest global, Apex auto. Placements were good for CS/IS branches.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

Remarks:

It is positive. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main. Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
