Remarks :

I had applied through kcet and according to my rank which was rough 48k. Along with SVCE, SVIT ATRIA REVA MSCE were some of the other colleges I had applied for since I was allotted with SVCE by KEA I didn't attend other colleges being allotted with the college of your choice depends on your priority order of applying during vet counselling. I had Availed for OBC quota and the college also provided with a good cut off for cet ranks. The admission process was quite simple once u have been allotted the seat in the college by kea u can block it and complete payment and come to college fill in an application form provides them with your previous certificates and marks cards. Make sure to carry an extra copy of the documents you are providing to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication is a vast branch with a lot of interesting things to learn. We can learn about the modern changing technology and lets us serve society's requirements with creative yet cost effective solutions. Faculty to student ratio is briefly 1:50. Most of the faculties are highly qualified with PhD in various domains and the program also provides us and the faculties with a lot of FDP (faculty development program) which enhance them with the knowledge of modern trends in the technology. The college invites resource persons from IISc IIT and other dignified companies to conduct workshops and seminars. We'd have 3 internal assessments per semester and 2 semesters per year. It'll be an easy task for us to face any exams because we've been made to prepare for it from day one. We students and the college put our best when it comes to academics.

Course Fees : INR 90290 per year

Internships Opportunities :

From summer internship and midterm projects up to final placement various academic and non academic initiatives to empower the students to meet the increasingly competitive and challenging corporate requirements are undertaken.

Placement Experience :

SVCE is among the top colleges In organizing pool campus drives. Students on reaching 7th semester become eligible for placements, around 3500+ offer letters have been issued 150+ different college students attend campus hiring around 15+ companies to have visited multiple times. Companies like Infosys, altos, HP, yahoo, amazon, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra and many others visit our campus for hiring Most students attend placement and some opt for higher studies abroad and some go for startup plans. I'm planning for higher studies after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The course is affordable when compared to other colleges in the surrounding. And yes we are provided with scholarships of about 60k for SC/ST and students with defence background and 19k for obc students. Karnataka SSP scholarship is the one we've been provided with.

Campus Life :

Annual fest conducted here is kalavibhava one of the largest fest conducted and various department conduct different tech fests and let's the students embrace their knowledge and talents. The library is loaded with vast collection of books and has access in a organize way. It also provides with e-library access too. In classrooms we've been provided with whiteboard and projector that enables teachers to share online resources Cc camera for monitoring the activities . Electronic hand sets for stating opinions and makes lectures interactive. Sports day will b conducted and college also trains basketball cricket football badminton etc. College has clubs for students to meet and make new friend and discuss their innovative ideas after all engineering is a multi disciplinary topic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

Over 60% of students got placed this year. Inside out of Presidency university

Placement Experience:

The placements at presidency university offers is average, the placements percentage is high but the packages are low, the highest was around 13L per Annum and average of around 3L per annum. Students are eligible for placements in third year, while having many opportunities for internships during the period of 4 years. There are various companies that visit our college for placements such as shell, tech Mahindra, dell, capgemini, and many more companies. My plan after degree is get a high paying job either through placements or self searched interviews

Placement Experience:

After the 5 th sem students will get eligible for the campus placement in my college . Some of the companies like Nokia ,Deloitte ,Johnson control, some startups , Infosys,Cisco, Capgemini and etc are some of the companies which selected students in the campus placement The highest package in my college was 30 lakh per annum and the average was 6 lakh per annum 90% students are placed during the placement in courses like ISE,CSEand Ece After I am getting the degree I will do a job and planning the masters from abroad
