Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted computer science. In this technological world computer knowledge and the course in that field is inevitable.. That's why i opt this one. Faculty in the campus is very much kwoledgeable in this field.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

They provide vast possibility for internship and placements... And the faculties and managememt also help us to make up for the imterviews and internship.... Majority of the students got placed and get jobs

Placement Experience :

In this college from 5 th semester onwards they start placement... And from 1 st year they started placement classes and mock interviews.. There are many reputed companies that take placements from our campus including tcs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The complete fees for education including tuition, service fees and other compulsory charges is 84000 for me.... There is an obc reservation for me.. But the fee for general category is also around 90k.

Campus Life :

Compare to other colleges events are less.... However there are events they conducting... There is a cultural event called vipanchika at the month of February may which is a three day event... And the onam celebration is mindblowing

Admission :

Eligibilty is keam pass... I approved through allotment process of kerala ... My rank was 6k..... We can find the application form in Kerala keam portal... There are reservation for ews sc st obc in the college....

Faculty :

There are 2 faculties for each class... One main faculty and one assistant. There are male amd female faculties in the campus that easies communication. We can approach the faculties at any time in online method. There willing to approach us in the offline whenever they are free. They are very loving and caring.

Placement Experience:

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

Remarks:

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.
