Course Curriculum Overview :
Even though I feel the curriculum needs to improve a little bit because of the emerging AI and technology the current curriculum gives more idea about the field and how it come so far .Exams are done after completion of each semester without any delay or clashes which is a big plus point.If we study the important topics and aspects of each module we can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities :
Free interships are provided at bachelor degree level and it does not give any stipend.We can assist government projects and improve our skills.In my field we get intership at PWD,water authority and other civil related government offices.
Placement Experience :
You become eligible for campus placements after 3rd year and many leading MNCs visits and offers jobs for students out there. Almost 50 percentage of students get placed every year. I am planning to do my masters with stipend from government.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I'm a general category student I have got no reservations or any fee reduction.I got merit seat in government college and only 5 thousand is the average amount to be paid per semester.Many financial aids and scholarship as provided like egranz and pragathi especially for girls.
Campus Life :
Every year tech fest named dyuthi happens which is a national level tech fest.There are many useful clubs like NSS and student chapters like IEEE etc.Arts and sports fest are done every year and certificate are provided which are of great value for your future.
Admission :
You need to pass the KEAM entrance exam and must score above 70 percent in grade 12 to get a merit seat. you can find application at online offical websites of KTU and notifications of admission and details are provided through it and by mail
Faculty :
As a civil engineering students I find my faculties friendly and approachable. I think there is a ratio 1:5 of faculty to students and we can interact with them very comfortably.Their mentorship is really good.
